Best apartment among 4 I lived in the bay area.
The staff Julie and Maria are the best I have ever met.
They are puncture, friendly, and most importantly help to solve the problems(so professional, especially responde to emails quickly to solve problems).
Fore sure the buildings are not new or fancy, but the quietness, location and the nearby part worth much more than the price.
I have to move out for personal reasons, and maybe come back in the future.

We have lived at Windemere for 5 years now and have never had any major issues. Administrative staff (Maria and Julie) and maintenance technician Oscar always help promptly when something goes wrong.

Great place. This was my home for 11 years, from 2001 - 2012, until my elder daughter went to college, and younger son went to 3rdh grade. Rental was not too high then. Friendly people there, nice environment and convenient location to me. It's all distance memory .

I lived in this apartment complex for 3 years and never had any issues. I really enjoyed the management (Julie & Maria), they always provided valuable information via text and kept the community informed. I felt safe walking at night and in the early morning.This place offered free internet and cable, in which I was receiving 50 to 85 mbps. The community is cigarette smoke-free, which is great when you do not have cigarette smoke seeping through the walls and floors.Carports are available, and there are plenty of charging locations for electric vehicles. I traveled often, leaving my fairly-priced new vehicle in the carport for weeks at a time without any issues. Speaking for myself, I never had any packages stolen from my front porch.Bugs are generally a problem in the Bay Area, but I never saw anything from the ordinary gnat, mosquito, ant, or spider.I have recommended close friends to the property, and they are pleased.Things I factor for how good a place is: community (neighbors, management), affordability, quality of the home, and safety. This place deserves 5 stars.

Lived here over 20 years ago at the end of the dot-com crash in 2001.I thought it was great, except, big except, there was no air conditioning. The manager gave me the "This is the Bay Area, and there is no need for AC" speech. Yeah, but I worked the night shift, so when I was sleeping it was a 100 degrees blasting through the windows.Great location though.I see they painted the apartments a baby blue of some sort. That is hideous! And I'm color-blind. The old neutral color was much better.Anyways, I just wanted to know if there is AC in the apartments yet?

I sent a message to Windemere Apartments to inquire about availability and pricing. The website showed
[email protected] which is, apparently, the correct e-mail. I drove to the place a few days later to find out about availability and pricing. I was able to pick up a brochure where I found another e-mail:
[email protected]. I wrote to that one but it quickly bounced back: old e-mail ... use new one. I waited for a response from
[email protected] and it came about a week later. It's not the fastest response but, at last, it arrived. The apartments at Windemere Apartment Homes look nice and clean. It looks like a nice place to live. They have 264 apartments in 1BR and 2BR options (922 or 947 sqft). At the time I inquired the 1BR option was downstairs for 722 sqft at $2400 or upstairs for 710 sqft at $2450. I did not take note of 2BR options. The property is 70% west of Año Nuevo Avenue and 30% to the east of it. They have a 1 small pool on the west side near the office and a BBQ area to the east side. It seems there is a 1 laundry which I find rather surprising for 264 units. For the size of the apartments I think the rent is somewhat inflated, even considering the out-of-control rent of Silicon Valley apartments. I was considering moving to this place but the major turn-off is the fact they have a model room which is never going to replace the actual experience of checking out the place you will rent to find out if you have idiot or loud neighbors or if you get exposed to tons of light so you cook in the summer. Año and ano are not the same: ñ is not equivalent to n. Año means year. Ano has an completely different meaning and if you know basic anatomy you know what it is. This is a 3.5 star review. Considering the size, the price and the inability to actually see what you will rent I cannot give more than that.

BED BUGS INFESTEDLived here for 6 months and nothing short of hell they were.I moved here and soon the nights were becoming restless. I thot i was getting some allergic reaction. Made an appointment with the doctor and came to know- it was some kind of bug bite. Doctor asked to inspect bed - and it was a nightmare when I cam home and inspected under the bed. It was a brand new mattress. We went to the management they said "bed bugs come due to poor hygiene" and sent a guy to fix it. He sprayed something on the mattress but sure enough they came back. Later got to know from a neighbor, the previous occupants had a bed bug problem and they moved out 6 months ago- right before us!! Management did a poor job cleaning the apartment, they clearly did not replace the carpet and let us join in an infested apartment.

Internet is spotty and they don’t have alternative high speed internet like att or comcast. The internet is provided by a small company called Coaxial networks. It’s high speed but unreliable. The company is responsive to outages but it can disrupt work if you are working from home. I have considered breaking my lease because of the internet issues.Everything else is great, especially for the price. The staff at the leasing office and friendly and helpful. There’s a beautiful park with tennis courts right close to the apartment, Encinal Park. It is just a 15min bike ride from downtowns and from work. The neighborhood is pretty green, the apartment has well maintained common areas with lush old trees. The apartments have large patios with generous storage, my kitchen has a pantry, while the patio has a locked storage room large enough to hold everything I had been storing in a U Haul container.

We lived in Windemere Apartments for 2 years and the stay was beautiful! Maria was very helpful from the time we leased our apartment till we handed over the keys! The apartments are older but well maintained. The neighborhood is green, bright and beautiful with many squirrels hopping around! Right in the heart of Silicon Valley, easy access to El Camino Real, Sunnyvale downtown and freeways :)

All maintenance requests usually done within the same day*Location, right across the beautiful park.*Good Rent compared to other communities.*New washers and dryers in common laundry.*1Bedroom apartment have pantry.*Cable and Internet are free which can save you $70-100/MonthCons:*Only few upstairs 2Bedroom apartments have Washer and Dryer*Siverfish, ants and spider issues subjective to your cleaning*No ACs* Internet speed are good for 2 people. You cannot upload big files but otherwise okYou can deal with cons easily and no major issues living here.
