“The best place to go for fresh vegetables. Come in the morning when it isn't very busy. Make sure to eat quickly as some of the vegetables spoil quickly. Inexpensive. Once you tried this place you will avoid grocery stores' vegetable offerings.”

“Nice bustling Trader Joe's. Everything seems to be fresh stocked. I often buy more than I go in for because there is a great selection of real food. You don't have to worry about trans fats and artificial anything here. Everything is all natural very good quality and decent prices.”

“Always good produce. I love the abundance of organic products. It's very clean. They have lots of take away choices for food. Folks that work there are usually pretty friendly. It is pricey, but it is what it is.”

“Great prepared foods, nice people, excellent selection of specialty foods like Marianne Ice Cream and LaVilla raviolis.Update on 4/29/24 -First time visiting after a few years. They still have a great selection of cheese and local specialties like those La Villa ravs, ice cream, pies and more. Shoppers seem to enjoy the samples laid out from the deli department and many of their options are individually packed for convenience.”

“Stopped in for some travel snacks and was blown away by the prices. Stunningly low. Fun, eclectic mix of groceries and household items. Found an amazing deal on high end brand dog treats at 75% less than the dog specialty shops. Love all the organic and other healthy options. Clean store, super friendly employees!”

“Safeway has always been my preferred place to shop and this location is an example why. Friendly people, wide selection(although some items are in weird places) and no lines at checkout.

Sadly, when you come during a time when the pharmacy is open, the place is chaotic and not at all like the above experience.”

“This is the best surprise I had searching for groceries nearby. The best price and quality produce of meat, fruits, vegetables and authentic Mexican food. So lucky to have discovered it and encouraging everyone to try who cares about real quality and not fake brand advertising.”

“I wanted to leave a review about the taqueria in the back of the store! I always get the California Burrito or their Chilaquiles (for breakfast) I feel like the quality of the meat tastes and feels cleaner than other taquerias around the area. The taste is always great, although the only thing I don't like is that their quite stingy with their portions. They measure the amount of meet they put on each item. Other than that, food & service are great!”

“A bit pricey compared to Cash & Carry. It's more like a convenience store though. The store has most of the Indian grocery items that one might need. The staff is really nice to talk to!”

“Well stocked warehouse type store, with pretty much everything you need to run a household or a restaurant. Prices are about comparable to other warehouse stores, but checkout is quicker, and they have their share of eco-friendly products. For example, you can get a 48 roll cardboard case of bathroom tissue with no plastic packaging at all.”

“We visited this place on a Saturday, most of the vegetables they had were fresh but make sure you choose the vegetables that you buy. Otherwise, great variety of other non perishable items.”

“The shop is clean and well kept, and is at a good location. Some of the staff members (e.g., Jyot, and Upkar S.) are very friendly and are always ready to help. My wife and I prefer to go to this store, regularly, even though it is little far from our home.”

“I moved to Sunnyvale yesterday. First time at this Safeway and I Absoulutely loved it. The only thing that I was concerned about is the checker who checked me out could not understand what I was telling him. That was really frustrating.”

“If you're looking for a halal Middle Eastern grocery store, Baraka Halal Market is one of the top choices in the area. I regularly shop there for meat, chicken, vegetables, fruits, spices, and nuts, and I’ve always been impressed by the quality. Recently, they've expanded their selection to include a wider range of fresh fruits and vegetables. They even carry some unique items like dishes and Chinese, kettles and so on. Their prices are reasonable, and their nuts, especially the walnuts, are delicious. The fruits are consistently fresh and tasty. The store also features a butcher offering a variety of meats, along with different types of cheese and dairy products. The staff, Munir, Homayoon, and two Mohammeds are incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area!”

“Clean well run local quick stop store. Most nights there is a food coach in the parking lot preparing mexican foods which you can enjoy there at tables with umbrellas or take it to go.”

“Located conveniently at the corners of Mathilda & Maude Ave in Sunnyvale, it's easy to get to, and plenty of parking at this plaza shared by Pizza Hut & KFC. The prices used to be extremely high, and I didn't find much sales item. However, Lucky Corporate has helped change things up that I come nearly weekly.

Weekly, they always have an item FREE, like an energy drink, a soup mix, etc. Today, I was salivating for some fried chickens, and from my app, I saw this 8-piece for $4.99, what a deal!! Well, when I self-checked out, I couldn't believe what I saw, with digital coupon discount, it came to $2.18‼️‼️‼️???? EIGHT pieces of delicious Fried Chickens, that's like 35¢ each piece, and they were yummy ???

Some other specials were like 6.99/lb Salmon fillets, Doritos chips for Buy 2 get 2 Free‼️‼️‼️”

“I love the layout - produce next to dairy next to meat etc, so the things you commonly need are grouped near each other. Helpful staff, and great bakery/ deli area.”

“Best Samosas in South Bay! They also have a good assortment of fried Snacks - try to grab them before they are over in the evening. Enough choices for Indian grocery items. I like the variety and also their cafeteria for fresh cooked meals. Ambiance is not very impressive but is pretty crowded generally and is good for Indian groceries”

“No surprise, especially no bad ones: go there when you want predictable & safe grocery shopping. Some branches, such as this one, offer a great choice of items somewhat unusual for US grocery stores, such as fontina, every fancy variant of Jameson Irish whiskey, many kinds of hard seltzers...”
