Department Stores in Sunnyvale, CA

3 locations found near Sunnyvale

“Big Target, bigger than the one I usually go in Foster City. They have Ulta Beauty right inside Target rather than in a different building. More product variety. The interior and isles are spacious.

This one is located on the second floor, so it creates some shades for the ground floor parking lots. Really appreciate this idea.”

“Ross is a place to shop when you are in a hurry to look for something essential that you need, you find the same quality, the same brands at a lower price than the brand store, you find a wide variety of clothing with a limited choice of sizes, but if you go to the store I assure you You will always leave with something from there. This is the closest store I have and in case of any emergency I always go there.”

“This Target looks like any other Target store you've ever been to. Target is a great place to get household and personal care staples, pick up some affordable clothing (especially for the little ones who grow out of them before the clothes can wear out), do your toy shopping, and get some groceries. There is a convenient pharmacy near the front. And you can grab a snack or drink at the renovated Starbucks. This Target location was closed in late 2021 / early 2022. One thing I noticed after the 2022 reopening is that they pulled up all the carpeting. I understand this makes it so much easier for them to move displays/racks around and clean up the floor ... but it really gives the store an unfinished look because you can see where the carpet used to be. I am so happy this location re-opened. It was a real pain to find time to stop by other Target locations during the months this one was closed. This Target is located on the upper level. You walk in and have the choice of taking the elevator, the escalator, or walking up the stairs. I usually choose the stairs because there are few places in Sunnyvale that offers this opportunity. It's good exercise. One of the perks of this location is the covered parking. This is much appreciated during hot summer days and also during the few days when we are blessed with rain. The covered parking adjacent to the building is best for people with little ones in tow, since they will be completely covered between car and store entrance. There is a parking garage across the street with a bridge to access the main shopping floor, but this bridge is exposed to the elements. I highly recommend against taking the escalator going down when leaving the store. There was one visit, many years ago, when I heard a loud noise while I was checking out. When I turned to leave, I discovered what caused the noise. A woman had pushed her cart down the "people" escalator instead of pushing the cart into the "cart" escalator. So of course her cart full of all the stuff she bought went tumbling and crashing down at the bottom. The only good thing about this incident is that nobody else was standing further down the escalator ; if there had been other people on the escalator, they surely would have been injured by the full cart crashing into them. I choose to take the regular stairs down ever since this incident. Because I think people are more likely to notice regular stairs and realize they should not push their cart down the stairs. I can imagine this incident reoccurring in the future when other people get confused by the "people" escalator and the "cart" escalator.”
