I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Citibank branch in Sunnyvale. I have been banking here for a few years and felt compelled to acknowledge this particular branch and their wonderful staff.
The service I receive is consistently exceptional. I would like to give a special acknowledgement to Mahesh, Mira, Dariush, Waldo, Kevin, Josh and the branch manager, Hoda, for their professionalism and for always striving to provide above and beyond service. Mahesh and Kevin are generally the first to interact with me and always ask how I am doing in a genuine manner. I appreciate these small interactions. I’m always asked if there is anything else they can do for me after taking care of my banking transactions.
Kevin is a genuine professional in all his dealings. He is very sharp and has excellent communication skills. He seems to build rapport with his clients easily - including myself.
Mahesh, a bank concierge, usually handles my banking transactions. She is always smiling, friendly and pleasant to work with. It’s evident that she has worked in the industry for quite some time as she handles each transaction efficiently and with professional expertise. Her job knowledge, attention to detail and personalized approach truly set her apart. If I could hire her as an employee of mine, I absolutely would. She’s truly a superstar employee in my opinion.
When I walk into this branch, the team greets me with a smile and acknowledges me by name. Mahesh, Mira, Dariush, Waldo, Kevin and Hoda listen to my banking needs and provide me with expert guidance and services for my situation.
Mira and Dariush are also incredibly helpful and efficient in assisting me. They are knowledgeable and courteous, making the entire banking experience as smooth as possible. They both take their time to answer my questions and I never feel rushed out the door. Mira helped me open a CD with Citi for the first time a few months ago. She kept me informed of the best rates and walked me through the process. I’m so glad I took her up on her suggestions and am happy with my portfolio growth.
Last but not least, I want to commend the branch manager, Hoda, for fostering a culture of excellence and customer service at the branch. There was a recent management change and I can see her positive impact on the team. Her leadership is evident.
Overall, my experience at this Citibank branch is nothing short of exceptional, Thanks to Mahesh, Mira, Dariush, Kevin, Waldo, Josh and Hoda. I highly recommend this branch to anyone in need of banking services. I hope Citi’s management team reads this review as this branch should be recognized for representing Citi in such an exceptional way.

I remember that 2 years ago, someone promised an entry on a specific time, but then the door kept locked and everyone stood outside. I think it is very bad, and a promised time is a promised time.
I tried to open it but in vain, after my trying they let us in but the woman got angry on me. I am still very much pissed on this event as recent review with 5 stars are all only people with one review. Hey, trust me, they didn't do it right.

I didn’t receive my credit card yet, I come in branch and wbaldo helped me get a hold of someone to see if I can get my credit card mailed again. Thank you wbaldo for all your help. I am waiting for my credit card now. I will wait.

Citi Bank customer service (outside US) staff is total ignorant, does not know what citi bank 1099-INT form is, defer question to tech support (why?), tax document web site has technical issues, can’t download documents, Chat room not function, absolute disaster and chaos online services!

I went in for help for how to proceed with assisting my recently disabled mother who has an account there in paying her rent, which needed a certified check. Instead of help, they told me to have my mother write me a check which I could cash there to get the money (cause that doesn't sound sketchy). Because that wasn't enough, they blocked her atm cards so we could not use it. She was not notified of their actions! I convinced my mom to go to the bank the next day, and they lied about blocking the card. Then they refused to help. She saw one of the bankers leave the front room and we had her caregiver roll her to him. It took hours for him to help her with getting her card back, getting the certified checks, and to learn how to have me added to the account. When he finally had her go back to the tellers, they did not use the lowered teller for people in wheelchairs. No, she was forced to use the normal high teller window. This is how much respect and decency you will find here. When we were leaving the banker would not say my name correctly and then became unhinged when I told him about the poor customer service and that we would be changing banks. He said good luck with that because all banks are the same they will all treat us as badly as they did.

I am a little hard of hearing, but i want to thank mr wbaldo robles for helping me. I needed to make a cash payment to my costco credit card and wbaldo helped me open a savings account with a minimum balance of $500. I love this bank. Thank you citi and thank you wbaldo for your help.
