Dr. Michelle and staff were amazing. We took my daughter's hamster here last month for a check up. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. They made my daughter (she's 12) feel very comfortable, because she was a little nervous about taking Hammy to a vet. They are affordable and we didn't have to wait months for an appt, like the other places I called.

We have four dogs that we take here over the last several months and can happily report that we have been nothing but 100% satisfied with both the vet and the vet techs. We are always greeted upon arrival then the techs take excellent history, they're very gentle and patient with our dogs making sure that they're handled well and are comfortable. The doctor has always been very thorough and diligent with treating each dog as well. Also, we checked around and their pricing is a bit more affordable and they do offer some discounts when you have multi pets. We probably called around to 10 different places before settling here and I am so happy that we did. We will continue to go here as long as we live in the area!

This vet is not sincere, and she is not up to date on things as other vets are. She has a jovial personality and leans on that instead of knowledge. We were a client for over 8 years, don’t let the other reviews she is asking others to post fool you. She does not go above and beyond, she answers emails once in a while during times she is out of the office because she only works part time. She is also very sneaky we have come to find out from her staff, about talking about clients behind their back. There are so many more knowledgeable and sincere veterinary clinics, I would never go back to this one.

I have been bringing my dogs here for several years. Dr. Michelle regularly goes above and beyond service taking care of my dogs and making sure my concerns are heard, even when that means emailing me back after hours or on her days off. She has always been efficient and kind to me and my dogs even when they are not such easy patients! Keep in mind they are only open 4 days a week, as they have been for several years, due to Dr. Michelle being a solo vet. She is still the best vet around and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else!

This Vet is full of herself, she claims she needs work life balance so only works 32 hours a week (this is not work life balance, it’s part time work). All beloved pets deserve a better Vet than this. After 8 yrs, and multiple issues, we decided to go elsewhere. She is selective on returning eMails or phone calls even after our dog was at Emergency Hospital. We have had several encounters with this Vet where she was not able to diagnose situations until we ourselves googled and asked for certain solutions. One of our dogs had been licking and creating sores on his belly. She gave him an allergy shot ($100) that didn’t work, then we came back, she told us to put mousse on the area twice a day (another $100 exam and more money for mousse), it still wasn’t getting any better, only worse. My wife googled and saw it looked like it was infected so reached out to see if it needed antibiotics. She said “oh yes, it’s worse now, let’s do that” (another $100 exam and cost of antibiotic). She likes to keep you coming back and she’s guessing, all at you and your pets expense. This Vet hires another Vet to come in and do her surgeries once a week, she just wants to interact with clients..what Vet does that? She’s marginal, at best. She puts on a laughing friendly front, but she is not sincere as we have come to see. Things also really declined after Covid. I think this gave her a chance to use that as an excuse to raise costs, less hours, and less quality of care. You can also Google her staffs comments regarding working for her (not favorable). She will tell you she goes above and beyond by selectively answering an email here and there after her 32 hours, and by throwing lots of pet tabs at your dogs. All veterinarians we’ve seen are available 40+ hours a week, and will see you after emergency care, and respond to you as soon as they are in the office (this Vet does not) There are many Vets around the area who are more competent and sincere. She also has complained she has to commute to Gilroy, who cares?? Do your due diligence…there are wonderful Vets out there that will care for your pets and treat them and you with respect.

We recently moved away from the south bay and needed to get our pets vaccination records. This reminded me of the amazing support we have received at Arroyo over the years. We were clients there for 13 years. Most of the time it was for general check ups. We also went there in the toughest times and I can't fully express how greateful we are for all their help and ultimately extending the quality of life for our senior pets. I can only hope that the next animal clinic we end up at is as carring as Arroyo has been.

This place was a nightmare. Took my dog for blood in his urine and got no assistance. He was an add on so I dropped him off for later pick up. I never received a phone call, update or anything. I showed up at closing to get him. What I assume was a vet tech brought him out and provided no updates, treatments, findings course of action nothing. They did not extract urine, prescribe any antibiotics absolutely nothing. The following day I called and left a message with the receptionist to follow up with the provider regarding the exam since NO ONE gave me any information. I paid for the exam and NOTHING and I mean absolutely NOTHING was relayed to me. Instead of receiving a phone call from the doctor to discuss me dogs condition. I received a ride text message from the “manager”. Telling me they were not going to assist me that I was harassing the staff and used profanity. What?! Excuse me?! I called once and only once asking for the findings for the EXAM I PAID FOR! Who runs a business this way? They took my money but provided no information. And the front desk staff , manager making false accusation to take my money. I should have received a phone call regarding the providers findings and my dogs health but none of that was provided. I had to take him to the another vet and pay $400 for the Exam, urinalysis and they instantly put him on antibiotics to help with his symptoms until the urinalysis came back. This visit took 30 mins tops. My poor baby suffered too long due to the neglect of this horrible office and their lying staff. I filed a formal complaint with the veterinary medical board. And will dispute the exam fee once it clears in my bank ! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE if you care for your animal! This place is a scam.

This was my first time back at Arroyo after Dr Michelle helped me say goodbye to my last companion. I've said goodbye to three of them now at Arroyo and have always truly appreciated the whole team's compassionate approach to palliative care. I was so happy when my newest companion got checked out and deemed healthy, and I could tell that the rest of the team was too. I'm looking forward to working with everyone on maintenance and prevention again.

We have been taking our 4 dogs to Arroyo Pet Clinic for over 8 years. You can imagine how many times we have been to their office over those years with 4 dogs. Dr. Michele and her staff have been nothing short of fabulous.: always courteous, always conscientious. They have always asked for authorization and always have been willing to give me estimates of cost ahead of time. There has never been a "surprise" on my bill. Dr. Michele has always been willing to take the time to explain everything to us beforehand and we always get a call after a major visit to see how our pet is doing. During the pandemic it has been a little harder to get an appointment but that is not unique to Arroyo. We have called around at times and EVERYONE is very busy. Never got a late fee because I care about other peoples' time so I've never been late to pick up my pet. Early maybe, but never late. COVID has caused people to go off the deep end when they are slightly inconvenienced. Keep that in mind when reading the one star reviews. I would say don't hesitate to bring your pet to Dr. Michele. Keep the following in mind when writing a review.

VERY RUDE, and UNCARING STAFF!!!! I couldn't believe the "professionalism" portrayed by Erica??? Please save your time and patience and go to a clinic that will treat you and your animals better. I'd rate it 0 if I could.
