They treat my dogs with patience and kindness and never recommend any unnecessary interventions. Most importantly, My dogs are still happy and healthy in their old age.

We have taken our dogs to Arroyo for over 10 years now, and have had great care and responsive support for most of it. Recently our senior dog (13) developed a chronic condition. Dr Michelle did a great job of diagnosing it and we had a good one on one discussion at the appointment. Also, the vet techs are gentle and positive with my dogs, so preventative visits are comfortable and positive. My biggest problem now is with communication and availability. We used to get lab results emailed to us immediately, and now I have to request them every time. Used to get follow up phone calls after surgery or sick visits, and now silence. We used to be able to talk with someone on Monday, and now... You get the picture. Five stars for the quality of service there, 2.5-3 for the follow up, communication and hours.

We took my mom's dog here. This is NOT a good dog. They handled her like a pro. She actually let them trim her claws. I was so impressed. It is amazing what you can do with a couple of towels to keep her calm. Also, they are still very reasonably priced.

Dr. Michelle and staff were amazing. We took my daughter's hamster here last month for a check up. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. They made my daughter (she's 12) feel very comfortable, because she was a little nervous about taking Hammy to a vet. They are affordable and we didn't have to wait months for an appt, like the other places I called.

After 5 unsuccessful calls to other vet hospitals looking for a rabbit vet on duty, I finally called Arroyo and they were able to squeeze me in within a few hours. The vet was quick to meet me and she helped me realize what was going on with my bunny. She made me feel a lot better that my bunny was going to be okay and wasn't in critical condition. In addition to the excellent service, the doctor said she'll check in on me in a couple days to make sure my bunny is healing fine.

We have four dogs that we take here over the last several months and can happily report that we have been nothing but 100% satisfied with both the vet and the vet techs. We are always greeted upon arrival then the techs take excellent history, they're very gentle and patient with our dogs making sure that they're handled well and are comfortable. The doctor has always been very thorough and diligent with treating each dog as well. Also, we checked around and their pricing is a bit more affordable and they do offer some discounts when you have multi pets. We probably called around to 10 different places before settling here and I am so happy that we did. We will continue to go here as long as we live in the area!

Dr Michelle and the staff are amazing! We've been with Arroyo for 10+ years and have had a great experience every time we have gone to Arroyo Animal Clinic. We trust Dr. Michelle and her staff. Truly caring and professional.

Arroyo is a great place to go for your dog. They are very kind, and Dr Michelle was great with our 13 yr old lab. He visited Arroyo from a pup until his recent passing. Thank you for all you did for Brady.

Update June 2021: Dr. Michelle has been veterinarian for our 9 year old labrador and 10 year old yorkie since 2011. I can tell that she and other veterinarians have had to adjust to issues caused by the pandemic (i.e., so many new pets, and ensuring safety for humans as well as the pets during visits). In spite of these changes, my pups continue to receive the same high quality of care. Recently, my yorkie had dental work under anesthesia. I received updates from the vet tech, including photos of my pup in recovery. Last month, I scheduled the labrador for a visit. She had become lethargic and experienced weight gain. After some additional blood work and an examination, she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and prescribed thyroid medication. One month later, she is a new dog! She lost 5 lbs and is acting like a puppy! I am grateful that we have an excellent vet who clearly loves the pets. She is super nice and is accessible via email to answer any questions I may have..
Previous review:
My two canine kiddos have been patients of Dr. Michelle and Dr. Megan since their first puppy visits 6 years ago. I have been impressed by the services there. Most of the staff (including receptionists and techs) have worked there for years, and are familiar with my kiddos, so it feels almost like family. The staff are professional, efficient, and obviously love pets. What I really like most is that the doctors take their time during visits to ask questions about health, socialization, and behavior, and never seem rushed. I totally trust their judgment and decisions regarding my dogs' care.

They went way beyond service trying to get my cat to take a pill, which she spit out four times.
