Found some amazing vintage pieces here! This store is small but MIGHTY. For the quality of items that they carry, I thought the prices were great. They also have an open dressing room, which I love. Expect to spend an average of around $10/item.

I called and asked about donation drop off times. Impolite lady on the phone said Tuesday- Saturday 11 am-5pm. When I reached at 3.20pm in the store asking about drop off place, asian ladies told me to go backside of the store.some hispanic man in the back refused to take donations saying, he has lot of boxes to work on and he won’t take donation.l because it’s 3.20pm. According to him there was no manager available.I will rather choose those bins for clothing and throw away other stuff than to waste my time and energy here with these rude people.

I started buying clothes at thrift stores 1.5 years ago, and this is my favorite one. I’ve found so many great clothes and jewelry here, all at great prices. I like stopping in before I go to Trader Joe’s, and I go on Tuesday since seniors get 10% off. The prices at this Discovery Shop seem lower and better priced than others. I also have a positive experience shopping here because the people are friendly and even know my name now. It makes shopping more fun. I also donate my clothes here. You just drive to the back of the shop during their donation hours.

My Mom Passed away several years ago haven't been getting rid of a lot of stuff. She taught in Sunnyvale and died of cancer SO thought this spot felt like right place to donate her things. I have been dropping items off there since then. I'd say 6 times. I have NEVER had a volunteer so thank you. I've been told you need an appointment. You don't need an appointment. We only take 4 boxes. You can leave as much as you want. Today I went and they said they didn't want any Christmas stuff so drove back home car fully loaded. I actually live in Menlo Park and let me tell you 100% different experience. They thank me, comment on the items, seem excited to receive. I have a friend that volunteers there. She said they have many bids for Goodwill and other organizations they sift pieces for that come weekly to pick up. Back drop off area always clean. I am NEVER going to waste my time donating to the Sunnyvale store. Horribly managed.

Great gems, smaller than your average second hand store but has some fun vintage gems. The staff are always so friendly.

This is an updated version of the original very positive review, which unfortunately was dictated and had some grammatical errors. I re-wrote the very positive review and posted it , but somehow it disappeared . Today I purchased several lovely pieces of clothing and a piece of art, which will travel with me to North Carolina. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I can't wait to return to the store in the future.

I am a frequent thrift shop buyer, who loves to support worthy non-profits. I frequently shop at the American Cancer Society shop in Menlo Park. The Cupertino shop is definitely not worth your time or money. Today I decided to give this store a second chance but it will definitely be my last. Whoever heard of a thrift shop having a "display"...with priced items that are not for sale? I picked up a fairly large ice bucket that was marked $11 and decided to look around without lugging it through the store with me. I picked up a few items went back to get the ice bucket and a lady working on the "display" said it was not for sale till next week. Same thing happened the first time I was there! Besides rude staff, some of their items are double the prices other thrift shops. FIND ANOTHER NON-PROFIT THRIFT SHOP TO SUPPORT!

I hate to give this business a bad review, but people who plan on donating here should understand that they need to call ahead and book an appointment if they don't want to be yelled at. It is NOT stated on their website at all that if you want to donate on Mondays, you NEED to make an appointment. I donated some things on a Saturday and was only told that donation hours are between 11-3pm and was asked how much was getting donated so if I needed help, somebody could help me. I donated between those hours and had no problems. Come today, my mom drove there during 11-3pm to donate. She went up to the door, masked, and called, "hello," 3 times with no answer. She took a step inside and an Asian woman with long hair yelled that my mom wasn't allowed in and that to donate on Monday, you need an appointment. My mom apologized and left. We're not sure what this woman was going through, but that is no way to treat customers. A simple, "Sorry, you need to make an appointment to donate on Mondays," would have sufficed. My mom and I have donated here in the past since we want to contribute to their cause, but if they have employees with this attitude, we will definitely look elsewhere to help.

I am a huge thrifter! I stumbled upon this place while I was at Savers. I always search for thrift shops when I'm out and about. The store is clean and items are nicely displayed. I haven't purchased much from the store but I do check it out every now and then. Staff/volunteers are not overly friendly but it is a good cause. I make my stops into the store quick.

Was visiting a friend and stopped into this thrift store. The window display was inviting. I immediately saw quite a bit of Asian items, but was appalled by the prices! A vase for $300? Everything was priced at full retail. A small, ugly butter pitcher from the '40's was $39 and it was part of a 3-piece set, all priced individually. Seriously, they are ridiculous. This is not a high-end antique store Don't waste your time.
