So you know that saying? Mess up my hair once, shame on you, mess it up not once, but twice, double shame on me! First time: So, on Dec12 2018 I made an appt with Patty, it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself with a hair cut and some highlights. She did an ok cut, really, it was just a trim. She put the bleach on my hair, put my under the dryer and started talking with a customer that had walked in. They were talking. And talking. And talking some more. About 20-25 minutes. She was so into the conversation, that she forgot about me under the dryer. She had a look of " oh $%!#, I forgot about you" on her face when she saw me get out from under the dryer. WTH!!?? Needless to say, my hair was F-R-I-E-D. How fried was it, you ask? It was so fried, when she was blow drying my hair, I started thinking to myself, she really needs to clean that brush because I could see all kinds of "dust" particles blow out in front of me. Those "dust" particles I was seeing, was MY FRIED HAIR flying off with the HOT air she was using to blow dry my hair. The worst part? She didn't even acknowledge, let alone apologize or offer to do a treatment for my damaged hair. I know she saw the damage she did. I know I saw it. To think that I gave her a $10.00 tip. Ugh! I blame my mama for raising me to be polite and respectful. Second time: More than a year has gone by. I've been spending $60- $80 on haircuts ever since my bad experience with the above mentioned. Unfortunately, I'm not able to afford that in my current situation. I decided to call Patty to make an appt. She tells me, come by right now. I figured, more than a year has gone by, plus, I'm not having highlights done and, I already have the base of a nice, expensive haircut, what could go wrong?? I styled my hair before heading there, so she could have an idea of what to do. She has the nerve to tell me; 'you haven't been here in a long time' I know she knows the reason why. Before sitting down I said to her; I want it exactly the way you see it, just shorter. Only a trim. She totally f'd it up. AGAIN. It was all uneven and just wrong. This time I tipped her 5. Third time: I working with what I had, but there is absolutely no shape to my hair. Can't do anything to make it look halfway decent. 2 days later, I get the bright idea to call her and let her know I'm not happy with the results, can she cut the sides shorter. I want my hair to flip. I'm like a glutton for punishment. I ask her to please cut the sides shorter. She looks annoyed, I ask her if she's sick because she sounded hoarse, she tells me 'yes, I have a cold' GREAT! I think to my self, not only is she going to f@$% up my hair again, but there is a serious possibility she could be sick with the Corona virus. Totally irresponsible of her to be working with the public, knowing she's sick. With all this crap going around?? She's not even wearing a mask, a bandana or something to keep her germs from spewing out when she talks or coughs into her hand, and not washing or sanitizing it. She should at least let people know she's sick so they can decide to stay or go. I'm getting pissed off just thinking about it. Yes. She made it worse. She got frustrated because I kept telling her I wanted my hair to flip out and she straight out said she couldn't make it flip, she didn't know what else she could do. Your the professional, make it work. I can think of a couple things she could do. She could stop putting that cheap hair product on people's hair. At the very least, she should ask before she does it. Said product made my fine hair extra soft, so of course, my hair was not going to flip up. I know that and I'm not a professional. Finally, she tells me if I want her to use the curling iron. I noped out of there so angry and frustrated. This time, I didn't tip. Side note. I am seriously upset that she's putting people at risk of getting sick. Corona Virus or common cold, that's just

I get my hair cut here not with Patty but with other woman that rents a chair here. She is great at cutting mens hair cuts. She charges $15.
