For the last year, I've been a patient of option care and my nurse Angela. I have to tell you I write very few reviews for companies like this , however, I wanted to make sure that people knew how happy I was with all of the things that they have done for me in the last year. Their flexibility for my schedule has been incredible. They are very efficient and are always checking up on me my experience with them compared to the other organization that was coming to do home care is like night and day. If it weren't for Angela's wonderful demeanor, and knowledge and expertise, I would be very unhappy, but they have gone above and beyond for everything that I've ever needed. If you're ever in the situation where you need home health care option care is far superior to the other companies that I've had experiences with him. they deserve the full five stars that I'm giving them.

Some kinda of scam. I received 1 months of supplies and have been unable to get anymore for my feeding tube. You call and all they do is stall and give excuses on why the can't process my order. I have to substitute over the counter supplements until I can get the real thing.DO Not use them

Jolene has been my nurse for the past 3 weeks. I am very blessed and fortunate to have had her as my nurse. I am sad to say that next time to Jolene. Because I have finished my treatment as of today. Jolene was so detailed about my treatment and explained step by step what to expect through my treatment and cleaning process. She made me feel safe and secured about treatment. She really sympathizes. I will forever remember Jolene she does such an amazing job.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It is impossible to make an appointment. They don’t return your phone calls even if they tell you they will. Ask your doctor for a different referral.

Option care is like playing a game of telephone with 20 people in a line wearing ear plugs and if the final person doesn’t receive the initial message someone dies. If you want to create a terrible company that fails to deliver results full of people who cannot do their jobs, DO NOT START A COMPANY THAT PROVIDES MEDICATION THAT PEOPLE NEED TO LIVE. I am weeks overdue for my infusion which was sent to the wrong address. I was told the medication would be transferred to my correct location and that I would receive a call back (which I didn’t). After leaving numerous voicemails with Option Care, it took a number of days to hear back after which I learned my address was not changed and an authorization had still not been requested. The people who created Option Care should be ashamed of themselves. Do everyone a favor and mend your horrible joke of a company or shut down.

Option Care Health may be reimagining the infusion care experience for patients, but only in the worst possible way. They care about not incurring costs rather than about giving good care. One woman in charge, Tina Johannson, is a BULLY who doesn't listen to your answer after questioning you, and in fact will speak right on top of you. Her hope is to badger you into doing your own care, in that she asked me to hook myself up and give myself my needed IV infusions. Seriously? There are real reasons that I didn't become a nurse. She threatens to leave me, "High and Dry". I have cancer, and am suffering thru chemo right now. I don't need to be dealing with this. Geeezzz. Horrible company. Run!

My dad infection disease doctor just sent the another antibiotic to the pharmacy. And I tried to call them and confirm the delivery time and someone told me the nurse would come to the house to see how my dad would react after the injection. My dad had that antibiotic injected last Saturday, and he had a little reaction after the injection, so the doctor stopped his medication. But the reaction was not strong, the doctor hoped that my dad would be able to restart the medication again, and she hoped that the nurse would come to the house to observe my dad's reaction and confirm that anything was okay. So I called the pharmacy on Monday to make sure the nurse would be coming on Tuesday, but the nurse didn't call me on Monday night to confirm tomorrow's schedule, so I tried called them this morning. However, the staff only said that there was no nurse scheduled and did not want help the patient's problems and situations. So I called them again and told them about the whole situation, and then she told me with impatience attitude that she said she is working on that. I didn't even have time to ask her a question, she already hung up the phone. How do you manage your employees? Why is the attitude so bad?Treat patients with such a poor attitude that even if the customer complains, there is no intention to solve any problems. Very terrible attitude, I regret forgetting to ask the woman's name. She was the worst employee I've ever met. I hope you guys can solve the problems.

Fortunately these days customer service is key to a successful company and thanks to Yelp we can jot down our issues to help other customers/patients make an informed decision on where they go. Today I had an appointment and like many other times they said it was yesterday. Now, this is not the first time this has happened. The only reason I keep going is 1. It's close to my daughters house 2. I'm usually the only patient being seen. This is regarding the sun valley location. (The nurse is nice however could probably customer service skills need a little work). Every time I go there's always an issue with my appt. the last time I went the nurse said oh I didn't think you were going to come. I didn't think anything of it but thought it was odd. Then later she came to me and said, "oh I thought you were another patient that is always late or doesn't show up." Not sure where the miscommunication is but when I make my appt I immediately put it in my calendar as I have them on the phone and I confirm. Apparently my appt was for yesterday. The nurse said she called but there is no message or calls from OC. I show up 5 min early and automatically told I don't have an appt. as shes fiddling on the iPad for confirmation of my appt she said just wait. 5 min after 9 a patient walks in and she immediately takes her and puts me in another room. Now it's 9:20 and some lady comes in talks to me about the issue and says she will have her supervisor do my flush and then she says "Good Luck" not in a friendly way and she walks off. Now 5 minutes pass and I'm still waiting. I have a lot of patience but not when it's a consistent issue. Every time I've gone for infusion it takes a minimum of 30 40 minutes to get set up. Then they deliver my meds and that's another 5 minutes to start cleaning my port and then placing the infusion. Keep in mind this is a 30 minute appt. it takes 30 minutes for the infusion to go through so majority of my appt is sitting waiting. I'm so done I walked out. I've had infusions at UCLA many times and I have never had an issue. Based on my insurance this is where I was told to go. Now I wait again to see if I can go to their other location because I refuse to go back to the sun valley office.FYI thank you Tina for helping and listening to me vent. And trying to get me seen elsewhere.
