I worked with Art and Jim on a road case project for one of my customers. Art and Jim were easy to communicate with and had our order ready to be picked up ahead of schedule. I look forward to working with them again!

I have had Encore Cases fabricate cases that I use for touring with my marionette shows. They have always delivered beautiful cases that I can pick up, or can easily be shipped to my workshop. I am sure I will be working with Jim and Encore Cases in the future!

These guys fixed my flight case despite not being the manufacturers. Wonderful folks - great to talk to and clear as a bell on pricing, from materials to labor there were no surprises. I'll be talking with them in a few months about a custom flight case for another instrument.

This place is so unprofessional. I had Art Arras work on my project which was a case for my digital mixer. I called April 18th to go in for measurements and a quote. He said he would make it exactly like the one I showed him online for $500, no tax if I paid in cash and would be complete in 2 weeks, May 2nd, just in time for some upcoming gigs I had. Well...that didn't happened. He never called me, so I called to get an update and he told me his machinist had been sick for 5 days so he's gonna need another week (May 9th) and he will need my mixer AGAIN for dimensions. I figured, at least I'll get it before I leave on tour, so I dropped off my mixer. I texted him a week later to pick it up and he replied that it wasn't ready and that it wouldn't event be ready by May 11 when I needed it, but he would try... So I took this very expensive piece of equipment on the road without a case. Luckily, nothing happened to it. He then ignored my calls and text messages for 9 days. He finally replied May 18th, telling me it's ready for pick up. I figured, I'd try to get a discount for my troubles. He laughed and said his boss wouldn't approve. That he should have charge me more for this case. At this point I was done and just wanted to pick up my case and pay my balance. He decided to charge me for taxes after he said no taxes if I pay cash. An Extra $50. The case wasn't exactly like he said he would make it. It was missing 2 handles, 2 blocks that would keep my mixer from falling out and the mixer fit loose in its case. Look, I'm not here to bash on the guy, but I know what's going on here. I manage a machine shop. I know what it takes to make a case like this. 3-4 days, 5 max but That's not the point. He gave me a date and a price. He's the one that took on this project and he couldn't deliver on the initial date and the 2nd date he gave me. He also charged me more than expected for a case that wasn't what he said would be. I know what happened here. Either he's incompetent or he pushed my case aside for bigger project that paid him more. I and the company I work for won't be going there anymore. 0 stars if I could.

Worst customer service experience. I've been a customer for a while, but as soon as they made a mistake with 2 of my cases, agreed to fix it, and then when I showed up decided not to fix the issue I can't endorse them any longer. Recent changes make their attention to detail poor, and customer service horrible. Save yourself some heartache and look elsewhere.
