These guys are crooks in the service department. I took my rv there to have the generator looked at and fixed.I was told a wire to the generator had gone into the wire harness and it would be $1500 to fix. I discovered they had actually wrapped the wire several times around the fuel filter to make it look like the wire was gone. They deliberately did this. What is even sadder, I had just given the service department a large ventilation fan that was collecting dust in my garage. They were very grateful for that.

I dropped off my Jayco Travel Trailer for service approximately one month ago for them to evaluate a few issues I saw arise. One of them was the hot water heater that was no longer working. I had already done some research and learned it was most likely the control board that needed to be replaced, which takes maybe 10 minutes max to confirm through use of multimeter. I was charged for one hour of service to "diagnose" a problem that takes 10 minutes, which I was charged 199.99 for. and that wasn't even to fix the problem. To fix it, they wanted to upcharge on the control board itself and then charge me another half hour worth of service at 99.99. Interesting they would charge 199.99 to "diagnose" and half the price to actually fix the issue. Aside from the water heater was the slide-out, which I asked to be looked at since the fascia inside the trailer seemed a bit uneven when fully open. I showed the service advisor what I meant upon dropping off. Once again, they charged me another hour worth of service at 199.99 to "diagnose" and added in the notes that the issue could not be replicated even though the service advisor watched it with me when I demonstrated it when dropped off unit. The notes on the after action say they attempted to open and close the slide several times and it was normal operation. I find it hard to believe it took an HOUR to open and close the slide a few times and come to conclusion it was "normal" and could not replicate. They recommended the slide out service to clean and lubricate, which they wanted to charge an additional two hours of service for 400.00!!!!The prices are beyond ridiculous and the time allotted or allegedly used that were billed to me are absolutely unreasonable for what they claimed to have been done, with still no fix!!! I spoke with the employee who was rude and unable to explain why I was charged the unreasonable amount of time and could only say, "well, you signed for the estimate given at drop off." Well, news flash....sometimes estimates are not correct. It's clear from notes and what was done that this is absolutely an overcharge and seems like unethical business practice. I will not be bringing my unit back here for service and will be doing the work myself or at another business that treats its customers right. BEWARE of taking your unit here for service, you will be overcharged!

Walked in looking to buy and was never even greeted or spoken to. All the employees just looked at me and avoided speaking to me. I walked the whole lot while I saw the salesmen drive other customers around in golf carts, not one stopped to see if I had a question or needed assistance. At the end of the lot the I was greeted by a lady writing on the campers and a forklift operator. I looked inside their new trailers and was not impressed. A lot of defects for them to be new. I would not recommend this lot. I was expecting more from such a big name store.

Horrible experience here. Purchased (a very expensive) trailer from here, and once I brought it home, the screen door was ripped. The shower door was broken, causing the water to leak every time it was used. To make matters worse, the sofa chairs it came with were broken, and the table it comes with that youre able to set up when you remove the bed was not even the correct table that goes on top of the tubes . Once I took it to get fixed, I left it there for TWO months and once picked up NOTHING was fixed AT ALL. The screen was still ripped. The sofa chairs are still not done & the wrong size table is still there. It's unbelievable so sad that we pay so much money for things like this to happen. Worst of all, though, they sweet talk you into buying it with all these guarantees, but once purchased the people you talk to hide when you try to call and explain to them the issues you're having.

I bought a "new" camper trailer and had the extended stay package along with having the ceramic coating applied.I go to pick it up and the trailer is completely filthy.Mattress was still in the cover how did ceramic coating get applied to thaScratches and construction marks throughout the entire trailer on the ceiling and walls.Window blinds do not close all the way.And on the bottom of the Queen size bed a crack in the wood. You start asking questions and they direct you to service before you even get off of the parking lot.Tried to contact the general manager multiple times and still today have not talked to anyone in regards to all the issues a customer had in regards to buying a trailer at their property.Buyer beware.

We recently purchased our first travel trailer here. We had nothing but amazing service from start to finish. We dealt with Doc, who was absolutely awesome and also so good with our squirmy/fussy 1-year-old. Everyone there was pleasant and there was no pushy feelings at all. They helped us figure out what we needed (as first timers, we needed the help) and also steered us away from the things we didn't "need". They could have probably made the sale on more than necessary, but they didn't. They helped us choose the safest options for our family, NOT the priciest, and gave us amazing tips. Rick was so helpful in explaining how everything worked and giving us answers to all our questions during the walkthrough, and had awesome tips/tricks and very informative pointers and was also very pleasant to work with (and very patient with our son, who was being very fussy on that particular day). I forgot the name of who helped me in financing, but she was so kind and patient as well and provided our son with goldfishes when we were filling out paperwork and was also very pleasant- and wasn't at all pushy with extended warranties/etc. She managed to get us a great deal on everything we wanted/needed and nothing we didn't :) Overall everyone was patient and kind, and there was no feeling of pressure at any point during our dealings. They made us a great deal and we left so happy with our decision to deal with them. They genuinely do care and it shows. We will absolutely be returning whenever it is time for us to upgrade/trade-in, and I do recommend them to anyone that may be hesitant. You won't regret doing business with them!

Friendly in a pushy kind of way. I get it they are just doing their jobs but one just wants to browse and than ask questions don't be a car salesman. Nice showroom and location for sure. Service department kinda wasted my time by even scheduling my appointment for my trailer when there was little to no chance the extended warranty was going to cover my issue. The lady who wrote up the repair order should've known that.

I wish I could read it zero stars. I had a slide leak and took it to Camping World Menifee to have it fixed. The bubble seal on the top of the slide was not compressing, thus leaking. Camping world said it was a caulking issue and not covered under warranty so I had them fix it. Camping world said they had leak tested the slide and it no longer leaked. Fast forward a few months and the slide leaks. I had an independent repair person look at the issue and they said it is a bubble seal issue that should’ve been covered under warranty (now expired). Camping World refuses to refund my money for the incomplete repair job. I’ll be taking them to small claims court.

I am echoing the sentiments of the many people below. Don't buy from them or use them for service. I purchased a travel trailer. It had a warped shower surround. They said it would be fixed in warranty. A number of other items needed fixing and they fixed most of them. They've had it twice since I purchased it. First time for three months, second time for ninety days. The last time they did the same "fix" on the shower and told me that that was the repair standard and they wouldn't be fixing it again. This was a problem from the day we bought it.In addition, they told me the comprehensive warranty I was sold as a two year term is only one year and the extended bumper to bumper warranty was actually only for major issues. Lies to sell the product.Do your research. Terrible company. There response of "Give us a call, we'll make it right" is laughable. I pled with two managers for fifteen minutes. All I got was, "Call the manufacturer."

The worst customer service I have ever seen! We made an appointment to have some warranty work done on our one-year old KZ connect trailer on March 23rd. We were told the first available appointment was May 12th. On May 10th we were notified that we would have to reschedule for May 25th due to no space to park our trailer on the Camping World lot. This was just the beginning of our 4 month nightmare dealing with Camping World and our service advisor Stephanie. We were lied to several times. We left voice mails and emails that were ignored and never answered. Stephanie told us our parts were ordered and when I checked with the manufacturer KZ, I was told that Camping World had not ordered any parts for our trailer. This is just one example. We had an appointment to pick-up our trailer at 1:00 on September 8th. We arrived at 12:30 and were told by Stephanie that our trailer was being washed right then and to have a seat in the waiting room. After checking with service several times our trailer was supposedly ready at 2:30. When inspecting our trailer we found the inside filthy with sawdust in the sinks, on the floor and on our bedroom mattress. We found our trailer battery dead and also was missing a locking door on our outside water connection bay. When I asked Stephanie what had happened to the door? She stated that a tornado had came thru the lot a few days prior and had probably blown the door off. She stated that Camping World would replace the door. That was over a week ago and I am still waiting for confirmation that the door has been ordered. When I told Stephanie that I was going to write a bad review, she stated that she didn't care!I only wish the review scale had a zero on it, because that is where I would score Camping World!Dissatisfied customer

Very poor customer service we purchased a used trailer we agreed to have it delivered. They told us to be a $2000 charge above the selling price. That fee covered them going through the trailer making sure everything work everything is fixed new mattresses. They also agreed to put the distribution hitch on We signed our docs and left. Expecting them to get a hold of us within a couple days to schedule delivery after the trailer was inspected clean and gone through after 2 1/2 weeks we still hadn’t heard from camping world I reached back out to our sales person Jake after Jake looked into the situation. He got back to me, saying that they basically dropped the ball on basically forgot about us. He reassured me to give him a time and a date he would make sure it was delivered that time and date. and that everything will be done. fix working in a good shape, including the distribution hitch. on inspection of the trailer after delivery. none of these things were done. No distribution hitch outside storage doors not locking trailer dirty it was like all they did. Was Mickey Mouse everything together. Thank you camping world of Menifee for your horrible service to a US military veteran.I am putting together a protesting rally trying to include the AACP some military, veteran organizations, and the local news groups. trying to get as much exposure as we can. If you want to help interest in participating, please reach out to me. we take a stand and stop this business from their horrible horrible. customer, service, and relations.

TLDR: These guys employ very unethical business practices and are the ultimate in shady used card salesmen. My wife and I wanted to get into RVing and were completely naïve as to what to look for. We weren't sure if we wanted a motorhome or a pull behind RV. We look at a few different place and private ads on FB Marketplace. We decide to check out Camping World one Saturday. Our initial salesperson was Lisa and she was great. She handed us off to John because he was more experienced. John said he had the perfect camper for us and showed us a 2005 Monaco Cayman. It seemed like it could be what we were looking for. So, being as naïve as we were, we agreed to a price of $68,000 out the door (taxes, fees, registration, etc). We placed a $1000 deposit to hold the RV that would be contingent on a test drive since they were doing work on a slide out. Later that evening I think to ask what the percentage rate is they're giving us. 10.99%!!!!!! So I say no, that's ridiculous. John convinces me to come back the next day and take it out for a test drive. So I, my wife and father-in-law go out on a test drive. One of the first things I noticed is that the speedometer isn't working. I drive it to my house on surface streets. Everything seems fine besides the speedometer. On the way back I ask if we can get on the freeway. And that's when things really went sideways. The motorhome couldn't get above what felt like 40 MPH, even with the gas pressed all the way to the floorboard. All traffic was blowing by us. John the sales guy didn't know what was going on and he couldn't get anyone on the horn that new what might be happening. So, what did this tell me? They hadn't even test drove this used RV that they had bought off someone!!!!! Now that's super shady. We get back to the dealership and the GM has run my wife's credit and we couldn't get the amount financed that we wanted because the coach was so old. They would finance a total of $30,000 and we needed $37,000. The GM said he was willing to waive that $7000. Us being so naiive thought that was a good deal. Well, a day later when we're looking for insurance for the coach through goodsam.com, we find its actual valuation. $32,000!!! Now I know dealerships have to make money on used vehicles, but they were initially trying to take us for $36,000 above it's market value!A couple of days later we decided to pull the plug and get our $1000 deposit back. That was over three weeks ago. I called finance and left voicemails, texted the two salesman all to no refund. Today, Wednesday, 9/6/23, I threatened them with calling the DMV and filing a complaint with their investigations department. They go right on the phone with me and refunded my deposit back to my debit card.We ended up buying a pull behind Surveyor from Giant RV down the road in Murrieta. I highly recommend them. They've been nothing but upfront and honest with us. I would never go back to Camping World.

Absolutely zero help fixing issues with our trailer. We paid a lot of money for an extended warranty but they will not reach out to manufacturer to get repairs approved and nickel and dime us to fix shottie work. We sent pictures of the leak but said we needed more proof. If Camping World and Highland Ridge were the last companies on earth I would by a tent.
