“This establishment is clean, well-lit, and has a friendly staff. They offer a wide variety of Jamaican products, making it a great place to shop if you're unable to visit Jamaica.l”
“Wide variety of goodies and food. I like the food cooked there and they are so generouswith the portions.. A little small store, not big enough. Service is good.”
“It's a good store and has good prices for the most part. It's always busy and crowded though. Hard to find some things though, seems like they rearrange the store and relocate items in the store making it hard to find certain things. But overall it's a great store and they usually have what your looking for and more.”
“Pretty Good place! Love the environment and it's a nice place for all ethnicities and people of different background to come here and enjoy the place. They have a Restaurant side, Seafood side in the back and a Grocery side as well. There is also a lottery area and a machine to buy your scratch tickets. And to dine in as well since there are tables and chairs to enjoy your food after ordering from the Restaurant side.”
“Independently owned convenience store. Good for beer runs and munchies. A 7/11 would put them out of business, but without competition in the downtown Suisun area, this is it unless you drive. Still, the guys that work here are always friendly, and the prices aren't crazy.”
“I read an on-line article about how the best fried chicken in S.F. is served up by a gas station. Krispy Krunchy Chicken, or KKC for short. I'd never heard of this brand of chicken so I did a search on Wikipedia. Interesting story and it turned out that there is a franchise at a Bon Fare Market in my town. I'm familiar with this business, it used to be a "Cheaper" market, (remember them?). Based on the generally favorable reviews I had to try this chicken. The KKC operation is a stand alone operation inside the store with their own dedicated order/pickup counter and cash register. You don't have to stand in line behind the guy buying smokes and a fifth of Wild Turkey. The selection of chicken was a little slim when I went in and I didn't feel like waiting for them to fry up fresh batch so I took a four piece order consisting of two thighs and two drumsticks. The order also came with a biscuit. The chicken was good and moist. The breading is light, not near as heavy as Popeye's, and is advertised as a Cajun seasoning. Now I'm not sure what exactly constitutes "Cajun" seasoning but this chicken had just the very slightest hint of heat. So slight that its almost isn't worth mentioning. All in all the chicken was good. The biscuit was interesting. It was like a sourdough biscuit with a sweet glaze on it. No need for "honey sauce" on this biscuit. Business was slack and the store was devoid of any customers when I made my purchase. The lady behind the counter was polite. My go to place for chicken is still WinCo but they're about ten miles away. This place is within walking distance. A good alternative to Popeye's and Kentucky Fried.”
“Raley's stores once covered the S F Bay area. NOW in retreat to Northern California cities exclusively. Farm fresh vegetables and fruits are always available. Somewhat more costly than Safeway or Walmart they too have weekly sale specials that can offset the higher prices.”
