My 23 year old Onan Microquiet 4000 RV generator would not start. My fault for not using it enough so the gasoline gelled in the carburetor. I took it to Bill and luckily he was able to clear it out and get it running properly. He also reset the rpm to produce the correct 62Hz output. He was fair, honest, knowledgeable and quick. Thanks Bill!

The Onan generator in my motorhome pooped out. Bill got it up and running in less than a week. It is running like a champ. I highly recommend them for small engine repairs.

@@@Do not do business with the scammer @@@ promises you the moon and gives you nothing it's a constant wait and the reason that you're waiting is because everybody else gets put first in a "" emergency " he will charge you three times the amount that he quote you he lies to you he will not give you your generator back in the time promised so if you want to wait this is your guy if you want somebody that is going to diss you not call you and you have to manage this guy this is your guy @@@do not recommend him at all @@@there are plenty of other generator services who will take care of you much better than this a**********

I have had Bill work on two of my Generators in each of my RV's. First one was a computer board issue and the replacement was no longer made so he modified one and the generator was in top condition. Second time 3 days before a 3 week trip across country my new rv generator would not start. I stopped in to see if Bill could help he was very busy but had me bring it in early in am and within an hour all was well just a service issue. I was so great full to have Bill for all and any of my generator needs.

Bill is a very knowledgeable and honest service and repair person. Generous and helpful advice was given about selecting a portable backup generator for my house. Five stars for offering lots of good advice and being kind to a future customer.

Was sent there by cordilia RV went to Fairfield construction meet bill right away he was friendly and very knowledgeable so I set up up appointment took RV in had great conversation left within an hour solved my issue would recommend he’s service very satisfied

I started going to Bill about 5 years ago and am so glad. I run my Onan generator pretty hard 40+ hours a week and problems are bound to arise. After trying my local Santa Rosa repair places and Cummings headquarters I knew when I found Fairfield Construction it was the BEST place to go with honest, quality services. I took my motorhome installed Onan generator to Bill for repair. The generator would not start. One smell of the old gas on the air filter told Bill that I had not been starting and running the generator on a monthly basis. True, I had not! Gummed up carb. R and R the carb, oil change and new air filter was accomplished within two hours.

We had a generator installed (welded) under one of our vehicles by Bill in December of 2013. Today it was being transported onto the freeway; Our employee was sitting at the metering lights when he heard a big bang. He pulled over and went to observe and noticed all four of the weld brackets from Bills work broke!!! If our employee had entered the freeway and this generator had fallen off at 65 mph it could of killed or seriously injured someone!! Bill took this news lightly and also said he could not fix it until late next week. We asked him if he could expedite the repair since it's needed on a large job beginning of next week, he said he couldn't do it and when our manager said we would have lost wages, Bill stated "Let the Attorneys handle it". You'd think with the seriousness of what just happen he'd want to take an immediate look at it and rectify his shoddy work right away. We will never take another vehicle here again. The man's work is a liability waiting to happen!! Very disappointed in you Bill! Shame on you!!

I was having problems with the Onan generator in our motorhome. I was expecting the worst, but Bill had it diagnosed and fixed in about 30 minutes. The generator was also due for its annual maintenance. He had the air filter, oil and oil filter changed in no time. All told from the time I pulled in until I pulled out was just under 2 hours (which included waiting for another customer to finish, to let the generator run for about 20 minutes to ensure it was functioning properly, and a malfunctioning credit card reader that didn't want to read the chip correctly.) The cost was very reasonable. He even showed me how to make the adjustment needed to correct the problem I was having to begin with! Now that's great service! I will be using Fairfield Construction Supply in the future.
