“This is a little oasis store in Big Bear with unique ingredients not commonly found in grocery stores as well as local brews and baked goods. I was visiting BB to do a half marathon and found Bear Cupboards and bought my pasta and sauce for carbo loading the night before the race. I will definitely return!”

If you are in Big Bear Lake, I don't think you will find a better price and, if you find something at a better price, you certainly won't find as much friendliness and kindness in the service.”
“This is the best of convenience stores by far. They're open 7 days a week, they close at midnight on Friday and Saturday. For the other 5 days they close at 11pm. This store has everything from AAA batteries to zucchini. They've got a good selection of cigars and a good selection of hard liquor too. All the staff are friendly and can tell you exactly where a product is that you want to buy (if they have it in stock) right down to the inch!! This store gets 2 thumbs up from me.”

Ashley and her husband are the lovely owners and always ready to offer their help and recommend something new to try. They're friendly and welcoming every time no matter the time or day. They have a large curated assortment of beers and liquor you can enjoy. Skip the boring grocery store choices and give this place a go. It's pretty cool vibe inside too!”

“I stopped by to purchase our office pool Lottery tickets instead of buying them at a big corporate supermarket. The cashier was very nice and friendly while she handled my multiple transactions for Super Lotto. The store seems to get their regular local customers as the cashier seemed to know everyone coming in.”

I thought our weekend was going to be ruined when my GF woke up with the worst cycle cramps. But not only was I able to pop in to lake view and get the relief my GF needed. “Perfect for getting vacation food supplies you forgot like ice, chocolate, chips, jalapenos, tinned foods and the like. This is not a supermarket and I'm surprised people keep comparing it to one.And if paying a dollar or two extra is required for items so you can support local, save gas and get what you need, that seems like the right price, not overpriced.Yes it could be made a bit tidier and more modern but it's convenience was perfect for our stay in Big Bear.”
