This little salon is a neighborhood gem. Ann is lovely and talented, a pleasure to work with - she really wants you to be happy. The salon is not fancy but who cares? It's clean, comfortable and funky - and prices are reasonable.

Anne is absolutely awesome! She is very kind and patient, and her vibe and salon are so welcoming. I love the comic book decor. Every haircut and highlights I have had done from her always comes out beautiful. I get compliments on my hair all the time thanks to Anne! She's lovely and you won't be disappointed. She is definitely one of the best in the valley!

I have been going to Whackos for almost TEN years. I originally got my hair cut by Robin but then moved to Anne (who owns the place). Anne is fantastic. I have gone through multiple different hair styles (bob, pixie, 70s shag, etc) and she has nailed ALL of them. I trust her ability to deliver the style that I want. She's also super friendly and kind hearted. Whackos is a long time favorite and I can't imagine going anywhere else for my hair needs.

I used to go here when I first moved to Los Angeles. I always held this place in high regard and I came back after a long time because I always really liked this place. The owner, Anne, has been doing my hair since I came back to it after going to salon schools for many years because of my own financial issues. The prices here very reasonable. Anne will give you the hairdo you want. She knows what she's doing and is very personable and kind. Also, the salon is a very cool space to visit. The decor is unique, fun, and nostagic. HIghly recommended!

Went for the first time yesterday. Absolutely loved Anne. She and her husband are such good salt of the earth people. She gave me a great cut for a great price. I have a hard time explaining how to cut my layers to most stylists but she did a great job balancing not cutting too much but also getting in there and thinning it out like I asked. Can't wait to go back! Great chill, inviting vibe in there.

Where do I start? Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their services. They are so good at what they do. They are the kindest souls you'll ever meet and they really care about taking care of you and giving you exactly what you want I highly highly highly recommend them. Anne is the absolute BEST!!!

I have been getting my hair done by Yvette at Whackos for at least 8 years. She is great! She does a great job, keeps on schedule and does her best to accommodate my schedule. The salon is very welcoming and everyone is very friendly. I have recommended the salon to a couple friends and they have been equally pleased with the stylists they work with. This year my 6 year old got her first professional hair cut with Ann. She couldn't have been happier and now Ann has a new regular customer! Whackos prices are GREAT, street parking is easy and I am happy to support a local business.

This place is great. Ann is brilliant and cool and all the stylists are truly great. Reasonable pricing for spectacular styling from any of them. The vibe in the shop is artistic and comfortable. You'll leave this place with great hair every time. I would recommend this salon to anybody who wants a great job done on their hair.
