We had instructors from Studio City Martial Arts come to the house to teach the kids during the pandemic. They were Covid-conscious, on time, professional, and able to maintain discipline while still having fun. A year later, the oldest is about to get her green belt. A great organization.

If I were able to give Studio City Martial Arts more stars I would. Can't say enough about the dojo. All the instructors are awesome. They all know how to work with all the different personalities of the students. Every student gets the correct attention needed in every class. Every class starts with a good stretching session then the training follows. I strongly recommend Studio City Martial Arts.

I can't believe how lucky we are that we found this dojo! I literally stumbled on it through Yelp. My son had been asking to start martial arts for years and I didn't know a thing about it - from which "art" to study, to where to go. I asked friends and no one really had a strong recommendation. This dojo is perfect for us and I knew it the minute I spoke to Miss Keelia on the phone that very first time. They are so patient and kind with every child, supportive and accepting while also pushing them to focus, work out, and work hard. Both Ms Keelia and Sensei Brian exude a seriousness about their craft, a gentleness with the kids, and an enthusiasm and pride in their work - which is contagious - and gets the kids excited and invested. Seeing my son excited to show up, even when it's hard, even when he's tired, even when he's not at his best -- admitting that he cares, that this is important to him - willing to be vulnerable, taking feedback, committing to give it his best, not quitting, feeling proud, looking up to his Sensei - it is monumental for him, and in turn for me. We are so grateful to this dojo, to all the instructors, and especially to Ms Keelia and Sensei Brian for their kindness to our family, for being so accepting and welcoming, and for teaching my son such important life lessons: sticking with it. Doing your best. Having fun. Being respectful. Being intentional. Sitting still. Working hard. THANK YOU!

If you want to get some good training in Ninpo Taijutsu this is a very good school. Few dojos will offer the same detailed instruction. You will learn many things here and also some of the nicest and most positive people you could ever hope to train with.It is also a really nice looking dojo and very nice area in Studio city. I live in Santa Clarita but loved to come down here when I was a student. This is a place you can call home and also a great place to get your black belt. Because at this school you will have earned it.

If you happen to be on Ventura Blvd and are looking for a place to welcome you in like family, all the while training you to defend yourself, then head to Studio City Martial Arts. In the time I attended classes here I learned a lot about the culture and art behind this amazing style of Tai Jutsu. Sensai Brian is very knowledgeable about the culture and customs and will have you feeling comfortable with them in no time! I loved every minute I got to spend with the staff and whenever I am back in L.A. you better believe you will see me in one of the drop in classes they offer! Definitely 5 star service all around! This is forever my Dojo!

Sensei Bryan and Miss Keelia have done such a wonderful job adapting their in-person classes to online classes in the midst of COVID-19. They haven't missed a beat! It's so nice to have their zoom classes to look forward to and keep us moving while staying home. Keep up the great work!!

The best best thing to happen to our family this year was joining Studio City Martial Arts!!! Our 9 year old son was asking for karate classes yet was very worried about starting out as a complete beginner. Everyone at this dojo has been more than welcoming from day 1! Both Sensei Ron and Sensei Brian have taught our son so much! He is a much more confident and happy boy since starting here. Keelia has been so kind and understanding and makes SCMA feel like home for for all who attend classes here (and their families as well)!

I love coming to this dojo! They now offer a self defense class and it is awesome. The technics Sensei Brian is teaching are great. Since taking this class, I feel more confident and prepared. The staff is amazing and very helpful. I'm looking forward in coming here weekly. Thanks Keelia for being so helpful.

WOMENS SELF DEFENSE CLASS!!! So glad I found out about this class. Sensei Bryan and all the instructors we great and made me feel very comfortable. Taking this class has given more confidence and some skills to defend myself if something were to happen. I'll definitely be there every week.

Sensei Bryan is amazing. I love how they have cleaned up the dojo. Keelia is a tremendous help and great with kids. Really good family vibe and what local business should be about! Looking forward to my son attending classes here!
