Would recommend since it closes to universal studios. The room is great even though it is small. So if you are not big complainers, then it is a great place stay.Nearby activities: Universal studios

It's an okay room for the price but really small! When we were there, we only saw one bug and it was just an ant. Beds were fine and it's okay because it's close to universal!

Love how close it is to Universal Studios. Rooms are small but it's clean and quiet. This is my 2nd time staying here and I will revisit when I return to area.

I love the place. It is very clean and the owners are very kind. I have been coming to this establishment for years, whenever I needed somewhere to detox and have a quiet place Or do homework where my kids weren't interrupting. Also all the great food places are just steps away from this place. Great location. If you don't believe me try it yourself.

Smelled like cheap cleaning supplies when we got in but aside from that it was a decent hotel we wouldn't mind staying in again. On a nice little walking strip with restaurants and shopping plazas all around. Also only a 5 to 10 minute drive to universal studios!

This place should not be open during COVID very dirty and disgusting. Unless you are really tired and have no where to go, just hope you have your own blankets and towels. First room I received as non-smoking with cigarettes burns on the blankets, sink was getting plugged up, the shower had a chunk of hair in the drain, the towels that were folded had hair wrapped in it, there was a pair of Jean shorts sitting on top of the hanger rack, and also graffiti. The second room I received was ok until I notice a stain which looked like hot sauce squirted on the wall. And to top it off my car was rear ended. Paid 140$ I guess you get what you pay for! The manager I spoke with said he hired new maids. This is something he needs to figure out because if there not cleaning up to covid standards they should not be open. This hotel was very last Min. And next time I will just put the extra 200$ to stay somewhere cleaner!

It was clean, the bed linens needed updating. The room had many nice updates including granite and remodeled bathrooms. Easy check in. You can walk to many great restaurants. We stayed because it was so close to Universal Studios. Not too bad, but definitely not what we are used to. Would stay again for the price and location.

Hotel was clean. I'm goving 3 stars because the rooms were very small. There was absolutely nothing available with 2 beds so this was perfect for a one night stay with out family. Beds were clean carpets were clean, shower was clean. Everything was super basic but it was perfect for a night.

I don't normally write reviews, but this had to be an exception. My husband and I drove across the country this past week and stayed in hotels the whole way, each one very acccomodating, quiet, safe and best of all, budget friendly. The Studio City Inn hotel seemed acceptable based on positive reviews and location, but we found nothing good about it. The room was shockingly small, no microwave, no desk, and there was an overwhelming smell of chemicals that was so strong, I couldn't breathe. My body was itchy and started breaking out in a rash from touching the bed. The bed linens felt cheap and there was actually a cigarette burn hole in the comforter. We could hear all the noise outside clearly, the whole vibe made us feel sick.I was horrified that I paid more for this room than any of the hotels before this. We couldn't even stay the night. Of course, they would not give us a refund, even though we weren't even there half an hour and explained the fumes were unbearable. So if you're the kind of person who is averse to loud noises, nauseating fumes, chemicals, and overpriced rooms, I suggest going elsewhere. We should have taken a clue from the fact that the front desk person was behind a glass window that doesn't even open. There was a nice, updated, clean Comfort Inn just up the way, less than 15min from this place, and for the same price, plus it had a gated parking garage.

Place is small, but if you just need a place to sleep it's great. Staff go out of their way to make it pleasurable. Very good customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Clean, nice interior. Bathroom needs a fan and it would be nice to have a microwave in the room. There was a fridge but no way to reheat your food.

Friendly staff, nice clean rooms.... Our room was desperately in need of new carpeting , and beddings.....
