If you are beginning your career in beauty and have started the hunt for your space, go here! I’m switching from what was my dream job, until the strikes, in movies and am very green.
Tea is the regional manger of the valley locations. She’s an expert who will share a lot of crucial information to help you start working on a concise starting budget. I really appreciated her kindness and time spent with me. I’m much less stressed out about my decision, feel like I have a doable plan now. They’ll be my first call when I’m farther along with my journey.

I worked there for almost 14 years ! The bigger the company grew the more corporate and horrible! The management is absolutely horrible ! Constant plumbing and electrical issues ! Bathrooms broken ! Laundry room / trash room is always dirty they don't provide towel service at this location! Any thing that goes wrong wether it is plumbing electricity or the constant AC issues you bring up is never fixed ever! My clients always complained about the AC and they won't do anything about it ! Also in their contract they make you sign you can not fix anything unless you use their people and their people are 3 times more expensive! It feels like a total scam to for e you to use their people! As for the building itself in all the 14 years I have been there I only remember a handful of times where both elevators and escalators work ! One of the other is always broken ! Many many clients have gotten stuck in the elevators! Armed robbery in the building ! My car and my clients cars have been broken into and there are no cameras in the parking lots! The security of the building is a joke he is always sleeping in the car ! Theirs rents are ridiculously high for an average room of 90 square foot! If you decide to leave after your contract they will make you redo the room completely no wear or tear ! And of course not only your deposit is gone they will make sure you pay even more ! The general manager is basically a gate keeper you never ever feel that they are there to accommodate you it's always to blame all on you ! I would not ever recommend this location and I would Say ready your contract thoroughly and know that your rent will go up every single year and the is no cap of what percentage it will go up to

If you're a hairdresser and want to rent a studio please do yourself a favor and look else where. This company stands for one thing and one thing only they know how to take money from you for no reason. They have charged me $218 for a chair that was given to me that was 20 years old. Honestly this is just one I have many more things to list here. Look at your options before you get yourself in this mess.

I have been going to Salon Republic and specifically Imelda. She is the best and Salon Republic is a well run facility. It is upscale, clean and easy to get to. There is plenty of free parking in the garage downstairs. I am thrilled they are back open after COVID. They take their COVID precautions seriously and I feel safe there and protected. They follow strict protocols and are masked at all times. Imelda is a top notch hair stylists who helps keep my hair trimmed and colored. Imelda is professional and fast and never disappoints.

You know how you've been looking for a hair stylist who is great at both cuts and color? Imelda Gonzales is amazing with both. Not only that, but she's personable and great to talk with. Her prices are L.A. reasonable, too!

Kim Cohen is a master colorist. I never dye my natural red hair but I decided to and I put my trust in her 100%. My hair looks and feels great and upon leaving my hair was so soft and silky. She cut and styled my hair and I get endless compliments. I'll never go to anyone else.
