Everybody knows that Nicole is the best hair stylist on the planet. She has been the hair goddess in my life for 20 years. Nobody cuts, colors, extends, straightens, and sprinkles that beauty magic like she does. But when I had a hair calamity Nicole worked a MIRACLE. I tried to de-frizz my own hair with an at-home straightening kit. My hair turned into something that felt like rubber spaghetti and it broke off in clumps in my hand. What was left was like brittle tufts of cotton candy. Nicole was out of town shooting a movie so I had to text her photos of the tragedy. She replied immediately with emergency advice and I went to a couple of other hair dressers in the unbearable months before her return. They tried valiantly but nobody could do anything to help. I looked like a doll who had been given a shampoo and a haircut by a three year old. I had to wear a scarf every day. Finally Nicole came back to her studio and worked for hours on my hair. Poor thing. It's dicey to deal with hair that damaged but she made light work of it. Before I knew it my hair looked as silky and beautiful as my 14 year old daughters. It's soft. I am running my hands through it right now. She even gave it a cut that blends the clumpy stumps of breakage into a flattering style. I wish I could show you before and after photos but I don't know how to upload them here. If you are ever lucky enough to be sitting in Nicole's chair ask her to show you the photos. Go ahead and chuckle at my expense. Nicole doesn't need a recommendation from me. She is plenty busy. But if you can get in to see her, I promise, you will never want to go to anyone else.
