Sung's Grooming Studio
11644 Ventura Blvd B, Studio CityWe just moved to the valley and have really struggled to find a new groomer for our Australian shepherd, nylo. Nylo requires a gentle hand and someone kind/patient. When he was little, he had a poor experience at a groomers that left him injured so I am very cautious with who I bring him to. He's very nervous when being left at any groomers as I'm sure he remembers the experience he had, so he does get a bit anxious. It was our first experience here at Sung's grooming studio and so far, we feel good about her! Her demeanor at drop off was gentle and sweet, so I felt comfortable leaving him there. It will probably take a few visits for him to feel more comfortable, but I can tell she's patient and understanding of his previous experience. She did a wonderful job on him. He's a very active dog for the most part so she did have to work out some of his tangles and knots, which we definitely appreciate. Keeping up with his thick fur is always hard work (especially for us) so when it comes to groomers, I pay attention to detail. His fur felt the "lightest" I've felt it in SO long so now I'm questioning the effort of any groomer we had before. We will definitely be back!

The two pups got nails done and an oral rinse. I feel like a better mum! I'll definitely use her again. You should too! Both the pups and I were comfortable with Dawn. Thx dawn!

This location is a private home, the owner stated they have a pool, but I can’t remember if she said the pets swim or not. She also stated that they have fleas in the yard outside, so make sure your pet has their flea medicine before booking.

We've had great experiences with all classes with both Jacqueline and Jo Anne at la's dog trainer. The tricks class with Jo Anne was particularly great as it helped us build a training relationship with our puppy in a fun way and the tricks ended up being a bonus to a more well behaved pup. The place was packed when we arrived, but the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. Parking in the plaza is limited, but there’s one-hour street parking available. I tried the chef’s special Huevos Rancheros, and it was delicious. The kids’ chocolate chip pancakes were a hit too!

Melts in your mouth (as ice cream should lol) No flaws. Everything is amazing. The ambiance is great, workers are so nice and positive and service is fast. They are very aware of the allergen menu and cross contamination and never complain to change the scoops to prevent cross contamination. If you come to LA and dont try this you are missing out.

So, on a coworker's recommendation, I decided to check out Kiwami, and it did not disappoint. I arrived right when they opened, and the atmosphere was spacious, inviting, and warm. The service? Absolutely flawless. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and literally melted in my mouth. We tried a few of their sushi rolls, and my favorites were the Robert Roll and the Spicy Albacore Cut Roll , so flavorful and perfectly made. The only downside is valet parking, which costs $10 and is right next to the restaurant. However, if you'd rather skip valet, there's street parking available, though it's first come, first serve. Honestly, I'm already planning my next visit this week!

I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was tasty. I added a sprinkle of pepper and it was set to go. Definitely interested in trying the rest of their menu.

DR Doghouse Bully Crew Rescue
11054 Ventura Blvd, Studio CityBy far one of the most compassionate rescue I have ever encountered. At my lowest point I needed the most help. My little girl got gravely ill and paralyzed. Most of the vets I visited weren't invested. When I contacted Robin she immediately started making calls and appointments to get my baby seen. She went over and above, helped with transport, helped with costs and checked in on us throughout the whole process even being there when my dog passed. I wish more people in rescue had this compassion. It's rare to meet people that actually care about your animal and I'm so grateful for the support and advice received. True rescue heros in every sense. Thank you from me and my baby girl in heaven.
