4 Nails broke after 5 days. Gel X is expensive and is supposed to last 3 weeks. The only reason i'm giving 2 stars is because the lady who did them was nice.

I had only been here once or twice before. It's not my usual spot, but i decided to give it another go. On Sunday i called to make an appointment for later that day for a regular pedicure and "potentially a gel x". When i asked for the how much it would be, i was told $30 for the pedicure and $47 for my nails. I went to my appointment and and asked for my gel x nails to be short and round. The nail technician was also trying to tell me about another service to get next time that would be cheaper than the gel x. When i went to pay, my gel x was being charged as $90. Obviously i was surprised by the price when i was told it would be $47 (which i was surprised to hear that gel x would only cost that). After arguing, the best they could do was give me 20% off. And if there was something i could get that's not only cheaper and better for my nails, why didn't she tell me beforehand? My pedicure was great, but my nails are not short and not round. I was already frustrated by everything, so i just paid and left. If i knew how much it was actually going to be, i don't know if i would have made the appointment. So not only did i pay more than anticipated, my nails aren't even what i asked for. Hopefully i can go in and have them at least fix the shape a bit.

I feel really disappointed and fly.
I am used to doing my nails in this place The last time I did my nails at this place manicurist do my nails and create mold between the nail and the gel which could have damaged my nail.
I got a $15 discount.... Really.
And we don't say we can do more while I'm a regular customer of this place

This review is specifically for services provided by nail tech Tu. I visited a few weeks ago and again today for Gel-X nails. Tu did an amazing job--highly professional and very detailed. My manicure did not chip or peel in any way. Highly recommend!

The interior decor upgrades are a nice touch but the service quality is now inconsistent and declining. I have been coming to Nail Garden for 15 + years. I will not be returning. My most recent visit, no one was at the front desk and although there was a line forming, we were ignored and not attended to for an unreasonable amount of time. My pedicure nail tech was annoyed for reasons unrelated to me, and decided to take it out on me and my feet, ordering me to "relax" my feet, demanding me to place my feet in and out of the water and shoving my feet to adjust them on the basinet with a level of a aggression that was ridiculous. I was working with her to "place" my feet as she needed but, I knew the behavior was unnecessary. I don't need a lot of attention and pampering, but I do expect to be treated civilly. The pedicure unsurprisingly, was sloppy.

I've been going to Nail Garden for a couple of years, and have had good experiences with many of their techs. Since I've started getting hard gel, I've wanted to have more consistency in the tech doing my appointments. Natalia has been doing my hard gel and fills for a little while now, and she always does such an incredible job. She has such great attention to detail, and is very skilled at creating the perfect shape; she truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is prepped and applied properly. She's also very sweet, and I always know I'm going to leave my appointment with the most beautiful nails when she does my services!

Ok, maybe I haven't had my nails done in awhile (since before Covid) but I was surprised at the cost of a simple mani pedi! $55 ($65 with tip)! And Yes, that's true all over so my three stars isn't because of that. Walked in and the place was clean and modern...ok, maybe worth the price. Here's where I was disappointed. Two woman attended me. They were silent and just with abrupt hand gestures, they had a "go sit and let's get this over with" attitude. Their skills were less than careful. Cut my hand nails too short and not carefully. Sloppy nail polish application. I miss my old nail salon Great Nails. They cared and wanted my business. They retired back in 2020.

A great place to get dip powder French with dip tips. Ask for TU and you won't be disappointed - I won't go to anyone else. He also does a great dip ombré. The pro with doing it all dip (as opposed to a gel top) is that it never chips.

I booked a 9:15am appointment for waxing. butt to neck. They called me while I was on my way there at 9 and asked to move it to 2pm. I obliged. I got there at 2 and they had no idea who could wax me. Finally some lady came out who didn’t know English and asked if I was there for “eyebrow wax”. I said no. She went to another employee. They pointed at me. I explained “she asked if I want my eyebrows waxed. That’s not why I’m here.” They talked amongst themselves. Then turned back around to me — “so you want eyebrow wax?” I literally shook my head in disbelief and walked out.

I originally went to noho west location for a full set, pedi and kids mani. Pedi and kids mani were amazing but my full set was not. I was disappointed with my nails. I connected with Reham who offered to have them fixed at the studio city location and I'm glad I came here ! I was taken care of by Tu (I think that's his name) he was amazing he really took his time to fix everything and did not rush through anything. I am so happy with them and will be coming back to see him for my next set!

Gel-X with Nancy. Super results. So many colors and designs to choose from. Love this salon - and especially Nancy. Everyone Very sweet and professional. So happy she is back.

Negative it has seriously become so bad to come to get my nails done is been 3 times i had left extremely disappointed paying $77.00 to $100 is not worth it they have people there that don't do their best job. And to make it worse they never never never have the color that i want i wont be going back owners meeds to spends a little kore time to see how customer are being treated bad customer services on nails and when you make an appointment online it never reserved really disappointed
