This is the best Free People I have experienced!!! I came in last Saturday to try on stuff for summer. I had an amazing experience from everyone on the full staff that day. They were very attentive of adding stuff to the fitting room, but most importantly when I was feeling very self conscious about an outfit I tried on and randomly put together, two of them really helped me with styling tips and giving me the confidence to wear something that was so new to me. Seriously, the best customer service I have had. It felt like a party in the fitting room. I used to work at a boutique over 10 years ago that used to sell items like Free People and similar designers. With that experience, I have very high standards on how I am treated as a customer and I truly have no notes. It was perfection. I felt like they were honest, relatable, and not overselling me at all. Since I have been on the other side, I understand what it's like when someone who is shopping alone needs another eye from the staff. Thank you team Studio City Free People for making my day!

Please note that this location
ONLY ACCEPTS RETURNS PURCHASES MADE AT THIS Free People LOCATION (Ventura Blvd, Studio City) BE WARNED ANY OTHER RETURNS WILL BE REFUSED including items purchases on the website/app, or purchased from any other flagship store other than this location!
Sorry for the caps just want to make sure those who can benefit from this info will be drawn to see it in hopes to save you the time & money that I wasn’t! ??
To reiterate: PURCHASES MADE ANYWHERE ELSE INCLUDING ONLINE CAN NOT BE RETURNED AT THIS LOCATION! BUT CAN BE AT ANY OTHER BRICK & MORTER LOCATION!!
This happened to me exactly a week ago when my friend & I both went here with our returns made both online, & at a store location in Palm Springs, & we were both sent away told that their computer doesn’t allow returns except for items bought at their store. But don’t fret as not more than 2 miles down the road at the Riverside Dr. location they are more than happy to help you return items made at ANY Free People location as well as any online or app purchase you may have made (and if it’s more than 30 days they will happily provide you store credit too which was greatly appreciated in our case!)
As far as I can tell basically all the other Los Angeles locations also accept returns from purchases made at other stores, as well as from online purchases! Which makes this store the exception and not the rule as far as Free People stores & returns go.
I can’t fathom why this is, as I’m sure they’re all connected to the same network, so my best guess is that whoever set up the network configuration at this location must’ve missed the mark & doesn’t have their system connected to the main network & instead only the local one, which is a shame as they really should all be the same all around, as it was a real inconvenience Ubering to this location only to then have to Uber to the Riverside Drive location because this store, doesn’t have the same policy’s in place as the same store down the street.
I wanted to share this fact, as I just found out about it, & that’s coming from someone that shops at this store monthly! 4 stars because I absolutely love the items that I end up with & as well as the quality of the items & fabrics which are spot on, exactly what I’m looking for, every time! ????? ??

This store is big and has a lot of items, but one disadvantage is that items bought from other stores cannot be returned.I definitely refunded the clothes I bought at another store before, but I don't know if this store has its own rules, but I had to go back because they said it couldn't be refunded.Other stores return everything from online or bought from other stores, but I don't understand why this store doesn't do that.That was a bit disappointing!

This is one of my favorite brands but most of the time their styles are too big for me. Well, not today! *Not sure if that was a good or a bad thing?! Lol. This Studio City store is my fav. It's beautifully laid out and the employees are very friendly. Friday I had some time to kill so I decided to check out the latest styles for Fall. Loved so many things but stopped myself from going crazy. Found a pair of adorable jeans that surprisingly fit me!!!! Yay! And a couple of stretchy tops. Shazia, was my girl. She helped me with my finds and checked me out at the register. We had a lovely conversation and she made my day!!!! The prices vary depending on the style. Worth exploring you never know what you may find. Highlights: -plenty of metered parking as well as a parking lot behind the stores-staff is friendly and helpful-stylish clothes-variety of sizesLowlights:-a little pricey -very slender people might not get lucky finding pants to fit.

The funny thing about this review is I actually went to Free People twice in one day last Sunday. The first time, I lightly browsed and found the sold out vans sneakers I've been looking for over the last couple of months. They didn't have my size in stock but a nice salesperson named Sav let me know they could order them on express shipping - my first win of the day! Then, I returned in the afternoon seeking a boho chic wedding outfit. This is where FP really earned a 5-star review. I was immediately supported in this endeavor by master stylist, Brooke, who picked out an assortment of options until we found what I'm deeming the ideal wedding date outfit (including shoes in my size). While I had Brooke's attention, she assisted me in finding several amazing other outfits that I completely fell in love with. Once I get a few more paychecks, I will certainly be back as there is a great team at Studio City Free People. Thank you Brooke and Sav for all of the help. Your confidence and support is much appreciated as I bought several items I never would have picked out for myself. So appreciative!!

I got a Christmas present from Free People. I don't shop at their stores, prices are a tad high, but I passed many times by this location so I came here for my return. Not a good experience. Customer service was flat out poor! No other customers in the store, many ladies working here but they prefer to hang with each other than help a customer! Not a a good shopping experince, on top I have to go to another location for my return! Not a good introduction to Free People. Unhappy customer!

The staff there is absolutely amazing! Right as I walked in this nice person named Sydney greeted me and helped find the perfect outfit. She was super helpful and friendly. She made my shopping experience an ease and I look forward to shopping there again soon. While the clothing is a bit expensive it is worth it! The materials are high quality and all of their clothing items are so cute. I'd recommend this place for people of all sizes. Their clothing is giving and fits most.
