I recently purchased an American Leather sleeper sofa at Bedfellows. Neil, the owner, was very knowledgeable and absolutely outstanding. He was very responsive, communicative and kept me updated throughout every step of the process. He is kind, honest and a complete professional. I love my new gorgeous and comfortable sleeper sofa!! I highly recommend Neil and Bedfellows.

I ordered two pieces of furniture, a TV console and a bookshelf, and am very happy. The items arrived earlier then expected and were white glove deliveries - and included FREE of charge! The installer was top notch, very precise and careful with the assembly and cleaned up afterwards. No large cardboard boxes or bits of styrofoam left behind. Would highly recommend Bedfellows and owner Neil.

I'm so pleased with my experience. The product I wanted had to be special ordered, and Bedfellows provided the fastest possible turnaround at no additional markup. The store owner was on top of things and communicative throughout all stages of purchase, delivery, and setup. And the final product was amazing. I had been shopping for a sofabed for months and had a lot of doubts, and can now say this was money very well spent.

I was referred to Bedfellows through a friend when I asked where I should go to design and purchase my American Leather Confort Sleeper. We did shop around, but found all the prices were the same so we simply needed to find the best customer service to guide us. This was our first time to design a couch and at American Leather prices, we needed some hand holding. First off, Neil is the owner and the person you will deal with over the phone and in the store. He always answers the phone or calls back immediately. Right away I knew his customer service was great. My husband and I visited his store several times to pick out the fabric, design and style of couch. He was extremely helpful. Our couch was delivered a few weeks later and he kept us in the loop every step of the way. The couch is perfect! It's more then we could have imagined. He truly helped us pick out the perfect leather and color. He knows American Leather! He's an expert. I'd suggest depending on his advice and wisdom to get the right couch! His patience with my toddler running around during our many visits and with us changing our minds...his customer service never wavered. He truly made our lives easier and cared for his customers happiness. I'd recommend anyone to call Neil for your sofa or any home furnishing needs.

I ended up buying my mattress at bedfellows but not until I had gone into all the other stores and there's plenty of bed stores and they all sell just about the same thing you just have to try out beds and see which one works for you and I decided to buy here because of the woman who was the sales person she was very knowledgeable and very kind and gave me some money off on a bed frame headboard in other words I got a little package deal but it still was not cheap.

Neil is amazing with the unique furniture selections. Bedfellows is a great shopping spot if you want some spice in your interior design. I purchased this amazing Japanese chest here and have been checking back for other gems to add to the collection.

I stumbled upon Bedfellows a couple months ago. As I looked through their collection of unique items, I saw a beautiful handmade slit drum. Because it was handmade, it was priced accordingly. I spoke with the Neil, the owner, and told him how much I loved the slit drum. I mentioned, as a music teacher, I am always looking for interesting instruments for my students. He offered to reach out to the artist who makes the slit drums to see if he could make a smaller one that was less expensive. Cut to two days later, I get a call from Neil, who had gone out of his way to call the artist, and explain to him that I was a music teacher interested in a drum for my music class. The artist not only made me a full size slit drum, but he gifted it to me for my school! Then kindness that Neil showed me, as well as the artist who created the drum, was such a welcomed surprise. For that kindness alone, I highly recommend supporting this beautiful store!

After a devastating fired that totally destroyed the iconic Bedfellows, I was elated to see that they have recently re-opened just 2 stores west of their original location. The new store is a smaller scaled down version of the original but still has some of the coolest one of a kind decor and accessory items you will find in the prime shopping district of Studio City. If you're decorating your apartment or house this is a must see. In addition, they continue to carry only the highest quality furniture items, now specializing in sofa beds and recliners. Not the kind of stuff you will find at most chain stores but designer quality items from the best manufacturers. I think the have been in business in Studio City for over 30 years. That doesn't happen by mistake. A unique one of a kind store that is always fun to visit. I always get great service and knowledgeable suggestions from the owner Neil, make sure you ask for him, he knows his stuff.

I have been a frequent friend of Bedfellows for 5 years. They have unique vintage items, one of a kind art work and carry exclusively the American Leather brands. Their sofa beds and recliners are wonderful. The owner, Neil has always been helpful and very knowledgeable. Bedfellows always has quality pieces and you can order from many different colors and fabrics.

Bedfellows is definitely an interesting place to visit. It has a varied mix of unique contemporary furniture and antique appliances. Think IKEA-style coffee tables with old-fashioned phones and typewriters on them. It's a great place to see some interesting things (and artists or decorators can get ideas here), but it's also the sort of place where everything is absurdly overpriced. Even by normal "antique markup" standards, the value here is low. If you don't care about your money all that much, you can surely get some neat stuff, but I'd definitely look elsewhere before shopping here.
