I had some leather trousers that needed alteration. I didn't trust my usual location due to the nature of the fabric. Luckily, I was able to drop them off at Mr. Barini's beautiful home office. 10/10 for the service and quality of the work done. Prices were very fair and comparable to the quality of work produced. Will come again for all my leather needs.

I had a strap that came off of my crossbody purse. Rather than buy a new bag, I inquired about having my purse repaired. I was impressed with the quality of work. I felt the price was fair. I am very happy.

Couldn't be happier with my experience at Barini Leather! I took a handbag in for repair and was so impressed with Gary's work and craftsmanship. He's a true professional and so knowledgeable. I took my jacket to Barani leather to patch a hole I had in the sleeve, after consulting with Gary I decided to replace the sleeve. Gary spent the time going through all of his skins with me to find the closest match. The jacket looks great and Gary was able to rush my order to have it ready for my bday party. Highly recommended.

Best choice for leather repairs. Honest assessments and excellent work. I’ve taken several very expensive jackets in for various repairs over the years. He recently replaced an entire panel on a Balmain biker jacket with a fairly intricate design.

Mr Barnini does great job, he takes his time making sure it's done right. I brought him a Tom Ford leather jacket that had been used in a stunt and had over 17 slashes. The results were better than I anticipated.

Can't thank Gary of Barini Leather enough! He's an artist with amazing talent and expertise in leather! Just the nicest guy too! He recently restored 2 of my big LV bags. He replaced the interior of both bags with leather and replaced the cracked trims. It was a difficult job and it turned out beautiful. I'll be able to use both of the bags for years to come! I used his services years ago when Barin was on Ventura Blvd for another LV bag and a couple of leather coats. So happy to have found him again as I wouldn't know where to go for his quality of service.

Gary's impeccable craftsmanship can also be seen on my two additional mini bags which are amazing! I've included photos of the leather lining inside of all three. I'm already dreaming about custom bag #4. It's a treat to get to look around his home workshop and see all the materials there are to choose from.

I dropped off a bag that had a handle that was bent and cracked. When I came into his home studio, he was very welcoming and we had a conversation about bags. He showed me his cool collection of vintage bag pieces in a display case and, when asked about it, he was very enthusiastic and it truly showed his passion for his work. After 2 weeks and $100 later, I got my bag and the strap was beautiful. I am very pleased with how everything came out. I'll definitely go back to him if I ever need any help with my bags!

If you're looking for a leather tailor in the LA area, Gary is your man. He's the only person I trust with expensive leather pieces. Gary has done two alterations for me: 1) an expensive Saint Laurent leather jacket and 2) a soft calfskin biker leather jacket for my mother. In both cases, the attention to detail and quality of work was second to none. He tailored both to fit perfectly, with complicated procedures like cutting and moving zippers, tailoring the body, and adjusting sleeve and hip length. Both jackets looked like they were perfect factory when they were returned to me. His knowledge and familiarity working with leather is the kind that can only come from years and years of working with these materials at the highest level. In addition to his top notch craftsmanship, you can tell Gary takes pride in his work - and puts passion into what he does. He was kind enough to invite me into his home and show me around, and clearly cares for his customers more than just for building a clientele for business. This is your guy.

My leather jacket recently suffered a mysterious and stubborn mold attack. I brought it to Gary for a cleaning and he worked incredibly hard to restore it to perfect condition ! Gary is a thoughtful and skilled craftsman, and a very kind and honest business person. I will absolutely be going back to him for all future leather needs. Thanks Gary !!

Barini Leather is terrific! Great work, excellent service. I've had several coats and bags repaired, treated, & waterproofed, there as well as bought 2 beautiful coats there. He's a consummate pro, with excellent quality and taste and his repair work is beautiful.Unfortunately, he is having a "going-out-of-business sale", so he will only be there thru the end of this month. He says he'll still be available in Westlake. Too bad. This pandemic has killed a lot of great small businesses.
