This review is a long time coming. I highly recommend this mechanic shop for anyone with a BMW or other german manufactured car.
I’ve been servicing my 2004 BMW for years at Auto Plaza Radford Ave. The team here treats me like a VIP customer. Rafi is always looking out for me and my car, he takes time to explain to me what’s going wrong, what we can do and what battles are worth fighting. He always gives be a great price and often offers to give my car a check up free of charge.
I can’t imagine where I would be without Rafi and his team!

Thank god for Rafi! My wife took our 2018 Mercedes CLA for a brake pad change. When she got there Rafi instantly spotted that the left hand front wheel had no lug nuts. He straight away put the car on the hoist and found the wheel totally jammed on the hub. I cannot explain how this happened but Rafi spent two hours getting the wheel off before changing the pads and rotors. He didn't want to bill us for all the labor so he flushed the brake system and lubricated the calipers as part of the job. He was updating both my wife and I throughout the process. I cannot thank him enough for his integrity and his workmanship. We will definitely be back. Great job, very happy!

I was referred to Rafi by a trusted friend who I knew to be both a "car" person and an astute businessperson. I couldn't possibly be happier with the work that was done on my 2009 BMW 135i and while it was extensive, Rafi did his best to soften the blow financially by prioritizing the work that needed to be done immediately to return the car to roadworthiness and in terms of getting it back to me as quickly as possible to minimize my rental car expenses. He explained in detail what needed to be done and why and answered all my questions with sympathy, patience and humour. Aside from perhaps a cardiologist or a good therapist, finding a trusted, honest mechanic is so very important and rare in this day and age and I'm happy to have found one in Rafi at Auto Plaza Radford Ave. In addition to that, I feel like I also made a new friend. Highest possibly rating for this business and to Rafi as a person.

Found this incredible auto mechanic via Nextdoor recommendation. Everything everyone said as far as fairness, reliability, expertise in Mercedes, thorough and professional was true. My vintage Mercedes is now in great hands. Rafi is the best!!!

Rafi's service was top-notch - super professional, incredibly kind, and totally honest. My husband and I were in a bit of a pickle, trying to decide for days on end (!!!) whether to fix up our old car or just sell it and go for a new one. Through it all, Rafi was the epitome of patience, never pushing us one way or the other but always giving us the straight scoop on our situation. Finding someone who genuinely cares about what's best for you, and not just trying to make a sale, is pretty rare these days.
After much back and forth, we decided to get our car fixed, and boy, did Rafi deliver! He hooked us up with an amazing deal, and before we knew it, our car was back looking and running like it's brand new! I was all set to be bussing it to my pilates classes that week, but Rafi made sure that wasn't going to happen. He got our car back to us ASAP! Hands down the best auto shop I've ever worked with on any car. Rafi is the most honest and competent shop owner anywhere in L.A. I can't recommend him or his services enough. He treats my Mercedes as if it were his own and is an all around great guy.

It's hard to find an honest and reliable mechanic, but Raffi is definitely one of them. I have been taking my bmw x3 to him for a few years now and he is always timely, fair and professional. He never overcharges or recommends work that it not absolutely necessary. He values long term relationship with his clients. I highly recommend!

I have an old-model Mini Cooper, which has been serviced by Rafi on several occasions since my return to Los Angeles in 2021. My experience with Rafi has been stellar. I couldn't ask for a more competent, kind, and honest mechanic. RAFI IS THE BEST! He has been taking care of my Volvo S60 for several years and always does a great and thorough job. He is also very personable and will be very clear about what needs to be done. If you have a Volvo, Mercedes, and/or BMW, go here!
