Owners name is Amar, I came from Sacramento, Ca to get my break and lamp done. Place is small but big hearted owners explained to me what needs to get done and if he can fix it he’ll try but my car ended up passing. He didn’t treat me like a customer, treated me with respect and honesty. Very polite and respectful company. I will definitely come to him for all my car needs now highly recommended him

West Automotive of Stockton: A Disappointing Experience
I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience at West Automotive of Stockton. Despite making an appointment two days in advance and arriving 30 minutes early, I was met with a frustrating level of disorganization and unprofessionalism.
While I was waiting, I observed a mechanic take on a customer who had arrived 40 minutes after me. This was particularly infuriating as my appointment time had already passed. It felt like my time and commitment were completely disregarded.
Such a lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. I will not be returning to West Automotive and would strongly advise others to avoid this establishment. Their unprofessional practices and disregard for appointments make it clear that they do not prioritize customer satisfaction.

I still can not believe what just happened. They were so kind and helpful in the beginning I paid $560 for registration, tags and to get my car smogged. I made sure with her, i quote (is this for everything)? she insured me that I didn't need to pay anymore just had to keep driving my car until it was ready which I didn't understand but I did anyways for over a month I was so patient with them. At the end after it was ready whatever that mean we were able to get our tag and license plate and she tells my daughter we had to pay other fees and they kept throwing other fees at me and telling me I was rude and wouldn't let me speak. I can not believe this happened to me when I was so patient and tried so hard to understand them. They told my daughter to never come back. Don't worry we will never come back. I was so overwhelmed with everything I just let her speak and just agree with her so we can leave. They knew I wasn't going for it and told us that they will not charge us extra, which should never have happened in the first place. She also told me that they aren't a charity event that just gives out free service knowingly I paid $560 up front so I don't understand why she would say all of that to me and infront of other customers, I was so embarrassed and held in my tears because I was so upset. I really hope and pray no one else have to go through this like did.

Excellent service the only place in Stockton Ca that does break and light inspection and my registration for my Harley excellent service if you need a smog or break light inspection this is the place togo where the price is low

Wonderful place to get a car repaired or smogged. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had him duplicate a key on a notoriously difficult Nissan vehicle and he cruised through it like it was nothing. I had to insist he charge me more because he did some extra work on the vehicle. Definitely in my TOP TWO automotive repair guys.
