Best papaya in stockton in my opionion, better than angel cruz park. If you haven't been, you're missing out. It's a little grocery store but you can call in your order and they'll have it ready for you, definitely a must try.

$7 papaya salad / order being made at the back (end of the fridge aisle). They have smaller selection than the store at Angkor super market by pershing-march lane. 1/4th of the store is occupied by bags of rice. If you only need to get several Asian items, check this site first then if they don't have it, go to SF super market or super king.

Came to buy padek. I usually get it from my usual place in Sacramento, but I didn't want to go all the way there just to get it. :/ Their padek tasted straight up like shrimp paste and water. Upon opening, all I smelled was the shrimp paste. It's also super watery. I'm used to it being a bit thicker due to cooking longer I guess. I thought I didn't put enough padek since I couldn't taste anything, so ended up dumping a ton in and it was still so bland after the lime/pepper/etc you put in yourself. It was a complete waste! Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere :(
