I went into this place from another auto repair shop because over the phone they said they could get my car in quickly. When I went in, Rodney, I believe took the info on my vehicle and said "Ok, we'll take it from here, thanks". He didn't give me any further information and didn't really seem to care. I was just standing around until another gentleman came up and said they would probably be a few hours. I was asking questions about the process of them fixing, the timeline and such, he basically said, "we'll talk after the diagnostic because 'most people' can't afford it." I felt a bit offended by how he came off with that. Anyway, I had to run a couple errands and they said it would be a few hours so I spoke to an older gentleman standing behind the desk and he said "sure, go ahead and run your errands, it'll be fine". While I was out I called, and the same older gentleman told me they would call me when they were getting close to fixing my vehicle. I received no call. The next day I called and I'm not sure who I spoke to, but he said they couldn't see my vehicle until Tuesday because now they have bigger projects and I took my vehicle yesterday when he planned to fix it. I explained that the only reason I took it was because one of their associates told me it was fine and I was expecting a call to bring it back. He said "sure, well now we can't see you until Tuesday". BAD, UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. And I don't doubt that if I wasn't a young black woman I wouldn't have gotten that careless treatment. I didn't say anything else. Just simply came straight to Yelp to write this review. Don't waste your money with these people, they are not right.

The staff was great, the owners very honest and trustworthy with Low affordable prices. My alternator went out they replaced it within 30-45 minutes I was in and out less than an hour... Thank you P&B

Highly recommend Rodney and his team for any auto repair needs. Needed some major work done to my high mileage Dodge Ram, was extremely happy with their prices. The work was done quickly and thoroughly and it is running like a champ once again. They were even able to replace my factory touch screen radio for less than half the cost I was quoted by the dealership. I rely on my truck for work and cannot make money without it, thanks to these guys it's back on the road for far less cost than I anticipated.

Best automotive repair shop in Stockton! Amazing staff and reasonable prices!! Amazing customer service,and they fixed my car quicker then expected. My new to go place. Definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants 5 star service!

Rodney was great, from start to finish. I called in to get a price quote to replace a wheel bearing from my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. I was given a price quote that beat out the competition. Rodney said to bring it in sometime in the morning and that he would knock it out. Rodney and his crew are professionals and clearly explained to me how bad it was and gave me some great advice about my suspension and brake pads. All in all I'm very happy with the job they did on my truck. I would not hesitate to bring my truck back to A Care Auto Repair for any future repair needs. If your reading this Rodney, Thanks again for getting my truck fixed!

I'm so happy my daughter recommended this place. I been having a problem with my car overheating since last year. I took it to Guarantee Auto Repair last year told them I wanted my thermostat replaced. Guy comes back and says it has a leaking hose so he cant replace anything until they do this so, I went ahead and gave the ok. After they replaced the hose he said car was leaking from water pump so said that needed replaced I'm a woman so I dont know I say ok. After all that i took it for a test drive & still temp gauge reading very high. They took a temp thing out and said its at the normal temp that the temp gauge probaly needs to be replaced. After 580 dollars same issue.. Went to A Care told them what was going on he ran into a few extra problems because of my car getting so hot for so long had to get a dealer part by the end of the day I had my car back cars not overheating anymore whats even more amazing he didnt charge me extra for labor great prices this will be my go to place forever if i have any issues in the future. Thanks you guys..

Couldn't be more satisfied with the efficiency and results. He was less expensive than the other shops that I had contacted and we were able to drop the vehicle before hours. He threw in an AC belt because it needed one, and he was changing the timing belt and water pump. Got an overall good vibe from the dude, so I think I just found my mechanic .

My power steering went completely out on my SUV and my nephew recommended this repair shop to me. I took the car in late Monday afternoon and it was fixed by Wednesday! Not only is A Care reasonably priced, they give free estimates too which is so nice. I only ended up paying $25 more than my estimate which i was totally fine with. Rodney took good care of me and I will definitely be back! I'm definitely referring all of my family and friends to A Care!

I came in because my oxygen sensor wasn't working, called in around 4 and they had it ready to go same day by closing. The price was super cheap and there customer service is awesome! Definitely coming back when I need work done. There closed in the weekends but open M-F

So to say I received less than 5 star work and price would be a lie. My manual transmission was out...I took the car in and got it back like new I a couple days. The price was way better than I could find anywhere and and the great service made it even better. What I got quoted was what I paid, now i knew what I needed so it was as accurate as can be. I trust bringing my car back if I even need more service, this is a great local shop.

Glad I found a business who I can trust that will be honest! Requested a quote, and they quickly gave me a rough estimate and made an appointment that was convenient for me. I dropped my car off and they called me back with an update of what I needed and how much everything was going to be. Picked it up 2 hours later & my car was running smoothly! Thanks again!
