I had ordered a few items for pickup at this location. I usually shop at the March Lane location but because I had business nearby, I took a chance on this store. I walked in around 0930hrs on a Saturday, the store was not too busy and I went to stand in line for online orders pickup. There was one person ahead of me and there were 4 associates behind the counter. They never acknowledged me or greeted me. There was an elderly couple also waiting that was not greeted. All 4 associates went out of their way to not make eye contact with either myself or the elderly couple, it was a very awful vibe. I stood there a good ten minutes and walked away. Its not worth the rude treatment nor the awkwardness of standing there being ignored. They knew we were there and we knew that they knew, it was just about them not wanting to help customers. Awful service.

A lady cashier at lumber session is so rude. During checking out, i interrupted her saying, " sorry. I need to punch in my telephone number so that system can pull up my membership. She said, " no. Too late now. You should have done that before i completed a process" . I said, " I am sorry" . She said," yeah" then slammed my credit card on a desk instead of handling it to me. I left a store very disappointed.

Right now Home Depot has stoped self checkouts but don't have cashiers to take care of everyone so now it takes a long time to buy things I might start going to lowes

I ordered a Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator at Home Depot in Stockton location on January 16/2023 . It took almost more than a month for the refrigerator to be delivered (February/20/2023 was when it came home). But after 5 days of use , the top freezer didn't work. The knob to set up the temperature for freeze was not well made, it was loose. All my meat and fish had to be thrown away. The bottom refrigerator was cold enough for all vegetables. I called and came back to Home Depot to return the fridge, so I can buy another refrigerator Whirlpool with different model (see that I still want to come back to business with Home Depot ), but they did not accept my return. Instead, they gave me the Whirlpool number and let me deal with them. I called around 3 days with many given phone numbers , and each phone call waiting time was 30, 40 minutes. I had very bad experience with Home Depot and Whirlpool customer services. I paid almost $700 for the worst refrigerator that only worked for 5 days . No return acceptance . I'm a very loyalty customer with both Home Depot and Whirlpool for more than 15 years; such a reward for me. Everyone please be aware with what happened with me. Please never buy major appliances at any Home Depot, especially any product from the Whirlpool company . Please, please. I will donate my refrigerator, and go buy another. Horrible experience! I was looking for a plumbing item and the home Depot web page gave me the wrong aisle. I had asked several employees for help and they said they would call someone. Over half an hour went by asking for help and still no one. Finally an awesome employee came by (I believe her name is Almeda). She tried helping me look but we could not find it so she went and found another awesome employee by the name of Chris who is very knowledgeable about the products. These two people are the best! I was just about ready to go to another store when Almeda came by and helped me. Thank you Almeda and Chris. This was the Hammer Lane home Depot in Stockton California

Chico ! Definitely a nice guy he's been there about 6 months ! Super sweet went above and beyond to help me look for chicken wire , besides sassy lazy A$$ PAUL. Chico stepped in to assist. & He's super cute too ! Go chico ! Thanks a lot again dude!

Tools are locked up, which I understand. But, if person who holds the keys are on lunch, you're going to due of old age before you can get your merchandise. Transferring the key holder would be a simple and logical solution. But it seems to be beyond the ability of the store manager. Get managers that can manage.

I don't normally complain or have negative things to say but .... Horrible customer service . They really just be hiring anyone ! Asked an associate where an item was and she looked at me funny and kept walking past as if she were just a customer. Then .... I Waited in line for 10 minutes while a cashier was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME having a personal conversation . Then when I asked if she were ready , all I got was a smart remark asking if I was ready after already waiting for them. Definitely don't recommend here . Would rate ZERO STARS if I could.

Some of the worst customer service people at the returns counter. They're lazy and show no care for the long lines. They're busy making silly jokes between them and wander around. They treat their customers as if it's the IRS office. This store also doesn't have knowledgeable staff in plumbing.

Bought appliances and had a delivery date of April 1st. Well we received them today and the delivery guy couldn't speak English refused to install which I paid for and didn't even take the old one off, which I paid for. Said he didn't want to and was afraid because my husband yelled at him. I will never go to Home Depot again.

Waiting to return my pressure washer. First thing they do is make me wait outside because my pressure washer has gas, understood . But it has been twenty minutes no help.

Their return policy is terrible. They are not customer friendly at all. Customer service is below average. Usually, only self check out is open and busy. Rarely any other cashiers. I wouldn't recommend doing any business here.

I have been shopping at Home Depot for years. With that being said I’d like to give a huge shout out and THANK YOU to Brian in the Lumber area. He was such a great help today, a very professional and polite young man. I don’t know what I would’ve done today without his assistance. I asked his name before I left because I was so impressed with his customer service and his willingness to help. He truly exemplifies what it means to be an excellent employee at the Home Depot Hammer Lane Stockton CA.
