They confirmed a pick up for Wednesday took my payment and called me Tuesday that they can’t pick up the piano. Disappointed.

We bought a 6' grand piano in Doublin and needed to get it moved to Sacramento. Encore was reasonable. They sent three men out to the seller's house to move it out. These guys worked together like a well-oiled machine, and they were strong, too. It would have been really hard for one person to do the job. Our piano was stored at their warehouse overnight before two different men delivered it to our house the next day. Once reassembled, we could see that the instrument was in the awesome shape as when we bought it. The men moved it around the room a few times and made sure the piano was at the right spot before they left. We are grateful for the awesome work the front office staff and the movers provided. If anyone needs to move their piano long distance, Encore is the way to go.

My Yamaha Upright U1E piano move was scheduled on one of the hottest days in California. We're all suffering triple digit temperatures so I commend the team who moved my piano so carefully. Their communication is excellent. From scheduling, to narrowing down the 3-hour window, to courtesy calling me 15 minutes before arrival, to focusing on the task at hand, I felt 110% confident that my piano would be handled with utmost care. I live on the second floor, with a balcony and concrete stairs. The team handled it so well, from the manner in which they protected the piano with heavy blankets secured with strapping, to the step-by-step communication in which they navigated every step. I joked with them about moving pianos in Hong Kong, where they use a crane to move the piano out and lower it down into the truck. They affirmed they occasionally use a crane as well. This is a professional moving company. Their heavy blankets are all matching, the strapping is strong and in good shape, and the team is dressed in uniform. I would highly recommend Encore Piano Moving in a heartbeat for your piano moving needs.

I have used Encore 6 times now. Each move went flawlessly. 4 of these moves involves going up or down 16 steps. I will trust no one else to move my piano.

Top notched piano moving service! Encore picked up my Model L Steinway from San Jose and delivered it the next day to San Francisco in great shape. I own a 1922 Heirloom Steinway O. As I planned my move from San Jose to Brentwood, I knew that it would be risky to trust just any mover to move my piano. After some research and consultation with friends in the piano industry, I selected Encore piano moving. Why? People I trust recommended them, and unlike the other piano movers I talked to, Encore provided insurance coverage for up to 100K. The others didn't even come close to this coverage. Not only did Encore move my piano safely, but they also ensured that I was 100% satisfied with every aspect of the move, including the positioning of my piano in it's new home. They even returned to reposition the piano when I realized, about a week later, that I had made a mistake with the initial positioning. Very professional and respectful throughout the entire process, I highly recommend them to anyone who has a piano that needs to be moved in the SF Bay Area!!

Prompt, careful, get the job done attitude. The moved my 118 year old pump organ which has been in my family since new. I liked the care the exhibited. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a similar job done. Great communication throughout the whole process.

I had them move an upright piano. The two guys were very nice & were very attentive to my concern about scratching wood floors. They repositioned it a few times until I was happy with placement. They did a fabulous job & I definitely would use them again!
