White cashier dude said "you're welcome" after not saying a single word during checkout... mind you I asked him a question.. and then he left me at the checkstand while he disappeared for a min to go get another pineapple.. no manners , horrible customer service... do better.

If you come here make sure to check your receipt . They are constantly labeling items one price or making these bootleg deal signs but once u get to the register better believe it's not going to be the same price as advertised . You pay , leave the store questioning how u spent so much at the wack ass dollar general check your receipt you'll see why. No wonder they stay alive . Won't be supporting these businesses . Never have what I need in stock anyway .

I love Dollar General Market so much that I want to work there,they have my protein bars available as well as the protein milk bottles I love buying. I do not live that far from the market so anytime I want to go to the store on foot,I ask. I normally go to buy snacks when my goal is snacks. If I only want to check out some quality blu-ray movies,I only buy some blu-rays that might be worth my attention. The flaw is only outside the store where unneeded ghettos hang around and then spray paint the wall,making their graffiti.TRUE FACT: This Dollar General Market used to be a store named Centromart in the 2000s before being remodeled.BONUS FACT: If you do not live that far from the market,it is a job just for you.

I've been meaning to update/change the second paragraph of my previous review for a while now. The first paragraph remains unchanged. The store is good, clean and a convenient walking distance from my home. The staff has always been helpful and friendly, the store always clean. The second paragraph was about some issues the store was having at the time. All Dollar Generals have a bag policy, namely leave it at the front, ask (if it's a shopping bag or similar they might just wave you on) or just don't bring it in. The manager at the time was forcing people to leave anything bag shaped, such as purses and the containment box built into my grandfathers walker (no, really, she tried to get us to hand over the walker and threatened to call the police if we didn't). The second issue, instead of leaving them behind the front register, which is policy, she had a drop off point in the corner of the shopping cart area, four feet from the door. A few months after I posted this review, enough bag thefts had taken place that she was finally removed (a neighbor told me one of our local elders had her expensive breathing kit swiped and she filed suit against Dollar General). Every manager since then has been great and understood the issues with the problem child one. A place farther behind the front register is now the designated bag space and there's always someone on hand to ensure safety.

Never enough cashiers, discontinue product that always sold out replaced with products that are not as good

Even though it was busy I was able to find what I was looking for and got through the checkout rather quickly.
