I went here a while back when it was called Pathway Health Coop. It was convenient but the the majority of the medicine was unappealing. Still I kept coming because it was closer than sac or the bay. The final straw was when I was looking at their strawberry cough that was suppose to be their top shelf at an incredible 25 a gram. There was clearly powdery mildew on the nugs. Shocked I pointed this out to the bud tender. They claimed it was THC. I quickly looked at their other products. A minute later a guy who was a grower that was responsible for the beautiful Trainwreck that I was now looking at stepped up and asked to see the Strawberry Cough saying he wanted to know why it was priced so high. He immediately confirmed that it was powdery mildew. This time they did not argue. The next day a friend went there and picked up some of the Trainwreck that I recommended. He also saw that they were still selling the Strawberry Cough though at a discounted price. The health risks associated with smoking molded medicine are well known. It was clear that these people do not care out their patients. This weekend I decided to give them another chance. The place had been remodeled since my last visit with all of the medicine now behind the counter out of view. In the past you could take a quick look at the samples and then narrow down your potential selection to a few for closer inspection. This new procedure resulted in having to wait much longer than usual. When I finally got to counter and started looking at the medicine I saw it was mostly the same unappealing product. Since I was there and out of medicine I picked up some decent looking Grand Daddy Purple. One of the nugs that they pulled from the bin for my selection had a long stem attached to it. When I pointed this out the bud tender squeezed the nug hard as he ripped the bottom of the stem off thereby crushing the THC glands. They offer house strains for $45 a 1/4 though they did not have any that day or according to an angry patron for the past few weeks. At the time they offered a grab bag of pencil eraser sized nugs with monster stems for $35 a 1/8. Considering the amount of stem it was not a very good deal. Bottom line it is one of the few collectives in the area. They do have a few decent strains but they are overpriced for the quality that you get. I have gotten the house strains in the past and have found them to be a good deal though its a case of quantity over quality.
