I am so satisfied with the immediate prompt help that I was able to receive from AVP Branch Manager Mrs. Ebony Gardner. She has helped me multiple teams without forwarding me to someone else in the correct department. I have a been a member for over 7 years with this bank and I have always received great customer service, However the help that I was able to get from Mrs. Gardner at such a vulnerable time in my life is beyond words. She is a true angel sent from heaven above and words can not express the gratitude that I feel. I was on disability for quite some time and I had significant issues with my account. was very frustrated and agitated when I first called because of a negligence on my account that I had been battling for almost a year. I was not exactly a happy camper when I first spoke with her. I am truly amazed of the efficiency and team work that I have witnessed through Ebony Gardner and her team. After my account was reviewed and approved by management was able to get everything sorted out. This all took place during my birthday week and I am so grateful that they were able to make sure my account was promptly taken care of before my wedding proposal. I definitely recommend Central State Credit Union to anyone seeking a Credit Union that goes above and beyond to give excellent customer service. Always friendly and never fee hunt. They usually call before the 7 day grace periods to make sure I don't get charged. I'm finishing a loan with them and if I was still in the area I'd use them again

Let me start by saying these people at this bank is not professional or suited to work at an bank. Came in to deposit money through the CO-OP and the ATM took the money and the machine froze with my deposit and started rebooting. Went inside to inform the bank personnel and remind you I was the only customer in the bank. An the all the tellers in the back office having a pow wow moment in the middle of the day. It was one Blondie hair did come out after waiting 20 minutes to tell me she would be with me in a minute that would be another 20 minute, until African American Lady provide me with service. An she came in from lunch. If this branch is ran unprofessional as this and other branches is ran like this, now I see why the bank look like an ghost town. If I banked at this bank, I would end my service immediately

Out of the 10 years I've been going to CSCU this branch is by far the worst in Stockton. The training must not be very effective as the service is slow to the point of me witnessing numerous customers complaint that there's not enough tellers. The difference is huge compared to that of the branch in El Dorado where the tellers are a lot more friendly, efficient and fast. The very short teller in the Center St. branch who appears to be of Hispanic descent is the worst. Don't piss her off of you don't want to see smoke coming out of her ears and nose. If you ask her to reset your password she tells you to call the call center rather than doing it herself. I'm not sure if she's lazy or hates her job but on two different occasions this girl has an attitude of entitlement. Don't waste your time. Go to the El Dorado branch.

Let me first start off by saying I’ve been a raving customer for the last 4 years. I had my auto loan through them and they have been extremely easy to work with. Because of this, I convinced my husband to refi his truck with them as we could save on interest and they are so easy to work with.I sent in all the refi paperwork, we were approved and all was dandy. I made an appt to go into the bank to sign off on the documents only to be called hours before that they made a mistake and my interest rate was almost a percentage higher than originally quoted.Frustrated, i asked if they would still honor the original interest rate as I was already quoted and I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years and have great payment history with my car loan through them (which I just paid off). They told me no because “people make mistakes” and if I want to move forward it’d be at the new interest rate. I explained I totally get people making mistakes, but this was a mistake made on the business and not one by me. Still no.I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Sucks to think they ended a loyal good quality relationship on such sour terms.
