I’m very late with this post. My daughter brought a dress for prom that was a size too big and we had no time to ship it back to get a smaller one. I called Amira’s on a Saturday and she gave me an appointment the next day on Sunday for us to bring the dress in. Prom was the next weekend. She got the dress altered by that Friday. It fit my daughter like a glove, she even steamed it for free for us. She was very nice and very professional. You could never tell that dress was as big as it first was. If I ever need alterations done in the future or ever get married again I’m going to this bridal shop. I’m very glad I found her online. I dont have a before picture but I included the after picture. I wish her nothing but continued success. Thank you again for the fast but great work you did.

Cecilia is very skilled and to make things 100% better, she is also the sweetest. I ordered my wedding dress from a consignment website and I loved it. I just needed it to be taken in and hemmed. I was a little worried because my dress was covered in lace detail. Cecilia did a wonderful job and also ended up providing my veil as well as my husband's vest and tie. She was so helpful throughout the process and made me feel very confident. I could not be more happy with my dress!

Cecilia is a phenomenal tailor. I went into needing to alter a dress of mine and not only is she quick to make sure you can have the dress in the time you need, but she is very well versed in her fabrics and how a fabric will look on your body. She made me feel so comfortable and didn't enforce any of her own opinion on how to alter the dress. I really appreciated being able to ask her for advice. She will continue to be my go to person for alterations!!

I was looking to alter my wedding dress. The dress could not be altered. At Amira's, she showed me some options, and i found my perfect dress in her shop. It didn't require major alterations. My wedding was beautiful, and I, a beautiful bride. Thank you for making my day perfect!

I wish I can give Cecelia 10 stars!!!! I called asking to altar my pantsuit for a couple important interviews and they got me in right away. I was expecting turn around to be 2 ish weeks, but she said she could get them done next day!!! The pants are perfect and look even better than the company's original hem!!! The shop itself is so cute, clean, and tidy; the changing rooms are spacious. Both Jaclyn and Cecilia are so sweet and the prices were very very very fair (almost too fair?). I go to that shopping center all the time since it is close to where I live and now that I know they do alterations, both my mom and I are going to bring every single pair of pants we own (we have very short, muscular legs so finding pants our size is hard)!!! I hope you give them a shot because they are so kind and I want to support a local, Stockton business. Highly recommend, cannot say enough good things. I read the reviews before calling, and after meeting both women at the shop, I believe that anybody who has anything negative to say probably exudes bad energy and/or expected something outrageous done within an unreasonable time frame or budget?? Please give them a chance, they are terrific!!!

In times like this, I really love that Yelp is my go-to for all things, including getting a bridesmaid's dress hemmed three weeks before a wedding! I called to book an appointment and was easily accommodated with a time that best worked for me, which is always appreciated! Amira's Fashion Couture is tucked into a nice plaza where parking in front of their business is never an issue. You're always greeted immediately by the front staff. Forgive me that I didn't get her name but she was incredibly kind and personable! It's like meeting with an old friend. Cecilia is wonderful. She really knows what she's doing and she had me in and out of there so quickly! I love how personable she is as I'm sure meeting different people with different walks of life can call for awkward interactions but again, she was really kind and we found out we both love Sailor Moon! She had my bridesmaid dress ready so quickly too. I was really impressed by the turnaround and mentioned to her that my husband is looking to get his pants hemmed as his usual seamstress is back in the Bay and we've been looking for someone local. He's excited to give Amira's Fashion Couture business too! Bottom line is don't hesitate to reach out for any of your wedding party needs or non-formal needs! Cecilia and her staff are top-notch!

Cecilia made everything so comfortable and amazing at the same time. I was so nervous coming in - I had went to 3 dress shops previously and I felt uncomfortable with my body, and the dresses in stock felt like no match to a typical body that dress shops would normally keep (size 2 - 10). When I went to her shop, the dresses didn’t make me feel uncomfortable whatsoever, instead I felt like the dresses fit me. Cecilia understood my wants and I got the dream dress that I wanted and was willing to pay for everything, including alterations and the dream veil that I longed for. To add to her exceptional work, her alterations for bustling were A1. She showed my godmother and MOH how to bustle my dress with ease. She is very exceptional with her craft and you will not regret her service! She was flexible with payment as well, and all brides know that wedding prices are never cheap. Payment plan was provided with ease; Communication is key for sure, but as long as you keep that, everything will go smoothly. I got my dress in time, along with alterations, and I will forever recommend Amirah’s Fashion Couture. Thank you Cecilia, for everything! I felt beautiful every time I went into the shop and during my wedding and will forever be grateful to you.

Loved working with Cecilia to get my wedding dress altered. After getting two sky-high quotes from seamstresses in Sacramento, I called Amira’s and she got me in the same day to look at the dress and gave me a range of options for tailoring. One seamstress in Sac gave me a $2000 quote for all the things I “had” to alter on my dress (which I got second hand for $300!), and when I asked Cecilia about these same adjustments her answer was “it’s your dress and your wedding and we can do whatever you want to your dress. Nothing has to happen unless it’s what you want.” Sold!! My dress had complicated beading and Cecilia found a way to take the bust in without cutting or re-beading it, saving time and money. She worked so quickly and making appointments with her was easy and efficient. Highly recommend her services. She is kind, professional, and so easy to work with.

THEY ARE AMAZING!!! I can not say enough good things about Amira's Fashion I needed some alterations done to a bridesmaids dress and found them on yelp and decided to give them a try and I'm so glad that I did! Not only did they have very reasonable pricing but they were an absolute dream to work with. Communication was great and they were super flexible with scheduling which was so helpful and important for me with a newborn at home. The dress came out exactly how I wanted and I am so happy with them. I am in multiple weddings this year and will be bringing all of my dresses to them! They also have an beautiful selection of wedding dresses too which I can't wait to look into for my wedding they definitely have a lifelong customer with me!
