Like many have said: a pearl inside a seaside town. A few books spoke to me, like "How to Tell a Story" by the creators of The Moth that I had to gift myself (while purchasing a few other titles as gifts for others). Looking forward to returning and purchasing "What you are looking for is in the library" and following that advice by visiting the quaint library nearby!

Found this hidden gem nestled right off the coast, and it's an absolute treasure for both bibliophiles and the community, and it's evident that they take care in curating a diverse and engaging collection.The selection of children's books they offer is impressive, and I was able to find some learning material for the students I tutor and work with at camp.The quaint bookstore offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It's a place where you can lose yourself among the shelves, exploring new worlds and stories.Whether you're a student, a parent, or simply a book enthusiast, it's a place that's worth a visit.

Super unfriendly. I went by a while back and the place was closed with a "be back shortly" sign so I waited for a bit. Someone came back and I was looking forward to shopping until she gave me a big once over. She seemed to think I was going to rob the place because she didn't even unlock the door while I was there . So I left. Weird.

This is a gem. It is rare to find a small bookstore anywhere these days. A great limited selection of Bay Area reads as well as other relevant and contemporary authors.Children's books, cards and a few kitchen items as well.

Such a great bookstore! It is bigger than it looked and very well kept. The woman who worked there was very sweet. There was many options but I chose The girl on the train. I enjoyed reading in on the beach. The beach is walking distance from the bookstore.

We are very dismayed to report that the owner has little interest in making it easy and/or straightforward to shop here.Hours are sporadically updated (such that customers will drive an hour to get here, only to discover the shop is closed); the phone is rarely answered, and the hyper-focus on potential fomite transmission is off-putting.All this is heartbreaking to bibliophiles trying to support independent bookstores. Please don’t make it so darn hard for us. ?

Love this bookstore, my favorite bookstore that I will go out of my way to visit. Great selection, lots of beach time reading and great nature and travel sections. Bring the kids, plenty for them, too. Owner is a delight.

This is my favorite book shop for so many reasons. If you are ever passing through town you must pay it a visit and pickup something special. There is something in here for everyone, which is part of its magic. Also that it feels like a little escape from the outside where time seems to slow down. It's incredibly well curated and Bonnie gives the best recommendations if your not sure what you're searching for. They also have a very sweet selection of toys, vintage looking tool boxes, binoculars, a whole variety of things that have become some of our kids favorites. In the very back is a lovely selection of gifts and beautiful home goods, making this the perfect stop for a needed gift, if not just a treat for yourself. You can tell this place has had a lot of love and heart poured into it over the years.

Very well stocked tiny-town bookstore. The owner is a joy to talk to. We stop in and buy at least one book every time we pass through - everything from gifts for friends (an especially wonderful kid's selection), to classics, to the hot newcomer on the latest NYT list, and hard to find authors alike. Don't pass this shop by!

Charming, surprising, friendly, tidy. I saw so many books there that I wanted to buy, but be sure to walk all the way to the back of the store for gifts, socks, cards, paper goods, toys and more. I stopped in there last weekend, and couldn't believe I'd never been in before. Going back this weekend. A great find!

Not only a well-stocked bookstore with everything from great reads, books and toys for the kiddos, stationary goods and local trinkets - BUT an amazing customer-service experience! My daughter's lost wallet was turned into the store (found on the street) and the owner (I believe), Bonnie, tracked us down (made numerous calls to find us) and mailed the wallet back - understanding the sentimental value of contents!
