Gabbie was extremely helpful in answering all my questions, providing a quote, and getting everything set up, and then Sean and his team did a tremendous job of packing and moving everything. They even arrived at our cross country destination one day early! Everything was meticulously packed, and it was all delivered completely intact with nothing missing or broken. “I found there to be all sorts of negative reviews for every moving company out there sprinkled in with some good ones. I chose Jim’s because someone I know personally had used them multiple times & recommended them to me. Ultimately, I couldn’t have been more pleased! These guys were like the “dream team” of movers & I had an out-of-state move, which was not easy. Stuart quoted me an all-in price that he assured me would not change; I agreed and sure enough there were no awkward conversations about added costs, etc. In fact, he even allowed me to add my entire 15x10 ft storage unit into the moving truck without charging me a dime more than what was agreed. That’s right, the 4 movers took the truck a couple miles down the street and cleaned out my complete storage unit after loading up my home. That definitely felt like a huge bonus. Also, when everything was unloaded the next day, not a single item was broken. My movers were Dan, Carey, Josh, Ryan & Sean. Of course every move has it’s unique factors, but I’d give these guys the highest recommendation to allow the best chance for you to be happy with yours based on the experience I just had & that’s after I went into it very cautiously after reading some negative reviews. And lastly, from what I gathered having read so many reviews, clear communication is the biggest key to being happy with your moving service so simply ask all of the questions and state all of your concerns in advance and Jim’s Moving Service will be able to help put you at ease. Stuart visited my old place twice to help map out the required space needed & provide us with some packing up recommedations. Again, could not give them any higher praise. 5 stars all the way.”

“The whole experience with Sky Van Line went so smoothly. I booked their service less than a week in advance and the office people were so helpful getting everything set up. I had two additional pickup locations besides the starting and ending points and that was no issue at all.My foreman and his team were wonderful - careful, efficient, funny, and kind. They wrapped up all of my furniture, took apart a dining table and put it back together at the new location (and screwed the legs in much tighter than they were before!). This is the first time moving wasn't a stressful experience for me and it's definitely thanks to Sky Van Line.”

“This is long overdue but finally settled after the move.

Camelot Moving and Storage was nothing but amazing during our super stressful move from Los Angeles to Charlotte NC. They were super responsive, friendly, helpful, strategic, and so accommodating when we had to make a slight day change in delivery due to our rental not being ready.
I love that they run their own trucks. They aren’t a broker or hire 3rd party trucks so you know your stuff is safe and in good hands.

We had two teams for our move since it was cross country. Cross country alone is so stressful and we had so much to pack.

The loading team had quite a few men and they were all super sweet and easy to work with. Not to mention so fast. They get in there and go go go… so you better be ready for them!

I met the driver, Junior, and delivery team on the NC side and they were so kind. Again, very strategic and savvy for unloading and bringing pieces into the house. A couple troublesome pieces but they made it work.
Also to add, they were very respectful and communicated very well.

Best part … out of the whole very large truckload… only one leg on my daughter’s play chair broke. Everything else was in perfect condition.

Their communication was excellent and explained all the various options for doing the work and also on the day of the move. The two gentlemen doing the move were courteous and professional. “I just used NMS in July 2023, to move across the Country! They were fabulous from start to finish. They were extremely responsive with all my questions, supporting my schedule and generous with supplies. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jack (Brittany, Jolene). I was incredibly reluctant to use a local /long distance carrier based on reading negative reviews and speaking with people (who made interstate moves), however, using a'Cube', renting a truck, etc., wasnt for me. My honest and fabulous dentist (Dr. Solow) recommended NMS and I was more than pleased. I felt it was good business sense to get one more quote from another company. “I knew this place because I always pass it on the way to work. I always see that they have a lot of rental truck on the parking lot. When it was time for me to move, I came to this place to rent a U-haul. Little did I know that you need to do a reservation. Jeez. I learned my lesson. So I have to scramble and check out other places. This U-Haul rent dolly and storage as well. They sell boxes, tapes, and pad locks. Owner is nice as well as the employees. They give out informations on other U- haul locations. If you need help with moving your stuff, there are people milling on the street that you can pay hourly or by contract.”

“I am moving to Michigan from California and rented a 20 foot truck and Ray Drake was very helpful. The first time I went to buy moving boxes and was told they will buy back whatever I had leftover. I plan to pick up truck next week and I was told the price, which is a little expensive for a senior retired citizen, but I am driving far. Also he remembered my son who rented a trailer last week and was very apologetic about tires not being checked and replaced before my son went to pick up. They replaced bald tires and he left one day late to Tennessee. As far as U-Haul services I am satisfied with service.”
