My husband decided to take the advice of my fellow Yelpers and select this auto shop instead of taking my car to the dealership. Well, I have to say that I was not impressed. To start off, it took a while to get an appointment but I get it, the mass exodus of silent quitting and COVID have diminished the workforce. However folks...what's the point of making an appointment if your car is just going to sit in the shop for almost 5 hrs?!? The appt should have taken just 2 hrs or less. My husband was given 2 different times that it would be done when he called to check on the progress. At one point he was told it would be the next car after the person came back from their lunch break. Wait, what?!? You might be asking, why not give 1 star for poor service, well the owner actually apologized when my husband brought up the situation. He said they were short staffed and it should have taken 2 hrs. I can appreciate an apology! I just wish this would have been communicated early on so we could have planned the day better. All in all, I think I'll stick with the dealership for the future BUT I won't completely count ABC out for good. I'm just hoping a 2nd experience won't be a repeat offense. We'll see!

Absolutely love ABC. The staff are always so helpful and get us in whenever we need. The mechanics do a great and thorough job. We've had them do necessary, extensive work and they were so honest, informative and helpful. We recommend them highly.

My car runs great and drives with zip, ABC takes great care of my little Soul. They keep track of what needs to be checked/worked on and send me reminders so I don't have to worry about when things need to be done. So much better than waiting for something to break before fixing it! They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Thanks, ABC, for giving me peace of mind.

I gave ABC a try to fix my air conditioning on my Porsche Panamera last year. They did an excellent job, so good I took my wives Cayenne in for service, along with my Ridgeline. Treated me like a king by all the staff members. They even like my jokes! I will continue to bring my cars to them to fix, as I trust the thorough work and attention they give me and my cars. Mark

Just moved to Ventura and over the past year our car developed a number of intermittent problems that we didn't take care of. I took it to ABC and in record time all the issues were diagnosed and ranked according to severity. We had all but two fixed in one day! The car runs like a dream and I'm going to bring it back next month to work on the rest. SO good to find a VERY competent, honest mechanic!! I highly recommend ABC and their Staff.

i'm so glad I found ABC Car care. They do a great job and are efficient and keep in touch with what's happening to your car. I would definitely recommend them to anyone whose car is not under warranty anymore

I inherited a car I helped my daughter get and when it stopped working I got it back. ABC has been my go to place for years now and I have always got back a working car and good service. They diagnosed the transmission was the issue and Hugo was great to work with. He understood I didn't want to just dump money into the car, but get it working to sell. His sources produced options, but were costly. He continued to search and a few days later I approached him with a used transmission I found online. Hugo verified it fit the car and I ordered it right there and even ok'd it with him to have it delivered to ABC. A few days after it arrived, ABC had the car running for pick up. Thank you.

Called about an oil change because this place was recommended by my in laws, and it was great and honest service! The oil change came with an inspection and let me know of other things my car will need in the future. Andrew who helped me was very clear and informative of what to expect and what services he recommended happen first since I'm on a budget. Thank you! I will be back

I had a complete rebuild of the major systems on my 1996 Chevy 1500 Series Pickup... What I learned is that refurbishing a 26 old truck is an undertaking with many surprises, for both the mechanic and the owner... After all was said and done... ABC Auto Care backed up their work and their word... I would recommend them..... Matt F. Ventura CA...

Took my car in for repair. I had to contact multiples times to receive status. I was finally informed that they needed my car over the weekend even though I scheduled my service ahead of time. Once I got my car back after service I noticed a noise coming from mr AC. I then returned my car for a new evaluation and it was determined that a leaf got in the exhaust of the AC during the service. AAA tried to charge me for the repair even though they caused the noise. I refused to pay. I now found out two weeks later that they provided an incorrect assessment on the status of my brakes. I now am taking the repair elsewhere. Horrible experience. I will not return!

If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy and friendly auto shop for your vehicle...ABC Auto Care is where it's at! My husband and I have been bringing both our cars/trucks to them for years now and they offer nothing but the best service! I recently needed to get my car a smog and the check engine light came on (of course right). Issac at ABC Auto Care took my car in, had the issue with it fixed and took my car to get a smog! Like come on! Not many places are going to accommodate customers like this going above and beyond. I couldn't recommend ABC Auto Care enough and if I could give them 10 stars...I would!
