“Ordered stuff and my card was charged. The package had the correct address but USPS delivered the package to the wrong address. USPS is a disaster and I do not fault the Bookstore but they should use FedX or UPS for delivery. The package was delivered to another address and the person was kind enough to drop it off at our home, so the situation was resolved. If ordering, do not use USPS.”

“I was disappointed this time because there was not a good men collection. So I had to spend my money on kids and women clothes. But I give them 4 stars because of my previous experiences there”

“There is such a sense of connection and wellness as one walks through the door of this shop. The personal touch of the shopkeepers, the paradise of innovate toys (many on display) and support of social justice initiatives makes this one of a kind toy stores. We are so fortunate to have this store in our town of San Carlos. I think I love it more than my 9 year old!!”

“Clean, bright, and spacious book shop, organized nicely with shelves and sections labeled clearly. So much variety, including games and crafts, quirky and clever greeting cards that had me cracking up, and endless genres of books (classics, cooking, medieval, and more). They have your typical kids' area, as well as a magazine section, nothing too special here. Spent most of my time checking out the books in the Self Help aisle, and enjoyed browsing through these thought-provoking texts focused on personal growth. Picked up Mindful As F*ck (by Emily Horn), along with a couple cute and comical greeting cards featuring bunnies, before leaving the store. I appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff, willing to provide assistance and share their recommendations with customers. There are even signs in each section pointing out recommended books (with personalized explanations by Kepler's and staff). I had a positive experience here this past weekend. Yes, items are on the pricier side, but there's so much to love about the place.”

“Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2021 Quarantine Chronicles - May 2021 Ave Maria is an essential shop for Catholics. Long ago you couldn't take photos in the shop but I spoke with one of the clerks and they said it's fine to take photos but they still haven't taken the old sign where it said photos are not allowed. In the advent of the internet and social media the only way businesses can survive is by customers sharing photos online. I've been coming to this shop for over 30 years with my family. The shop is specific for Catholics. They have all materials that Catholics may be interested in such as books for children, books for adults, dvds, musical cds, gifts, crucifixes, bottles for holy water, candles, gift sets for first holy communion, confirmation gifts, cards for all occasions, prayer cards, the selection is amazing! They even have garments for Priests, Deacons and things you might need for inside the church but that is separate from the main shopping area. Customer service is good on the phone and in person. The only problem is they only had two staff on a very busy Saturday. They require masks to be worn inside due to the pandemic. Upon entering you are required to sanitize your hands and the sanitizer station. Selection was a little slim on communion and confirmation items as many children are having their first communion and confirmation. I was still able to get the items I needed. One thing I love is their greeting card section - it's super extensive, for all occasions. This is a one stop shop for all your Catholic needs. A favorite place of mine to shop for sure :) Noelle's Notes A great resource for all things Catholic. They are taking pandemic precautions- must wear a mask to shop and sanitize hands upon entering. They are closed on Sundays. If you cannot get here another great catholic resource is the religious gift shop at Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara (not far from Great America and Mission College).”

“Bookasaurus is a gem of a bookstore, filled to the brim with a wide selection of books and gifts. The manager is incredibly kind, even offering free gift wrapping, which makes it my go-to spot for children's gifts. What sets this store apart, though, is the staff. They're not just kind; they're genuinely passionate about getting kids excited about reading. They have a gentle approach that's great with children, making every visit a delight.”

“The book I wanted wouldn't make it from Amazon on time but I was able to search the Books Inc inventory on their website, drive down and pick it up. The store is cozy, the staff are helpful and if you need a book they are worth a visit.”

“An amazing "little" used bookstore tucked away in the basement of the history museum. We were amazed at just how much was actually there! Most books are $1-$5.They have a large selection of older books, a handful of rare finds, and books of all ages in nearly every category you can imagine. We happily spent an hour roaming the shelves hunting for treasures.**Cash or check only!** So come prepared. Next time I go, I'm bringing more cash!(There is a Chase ATM across the street)”

“Such a lovely bookstore, and a great part of the San Carlos community. I take my daughter for storytime regularly and buy gifts for friends here. It's such a delight to have an independent bookstore in our neighborhood where the staff know and love books, and can share thoughtful recommendations.”

“Super friendly staff when I went to checkout. Came here with a friend and got to explore so much! They have lots of books on pretty much everything, but mostly spiritual based. There were also a lot of little statuettes and stuffed animals to look at! I ended up buying some from my sister. O really a lovely place to stop and shop at when you're in Mountain View.”

“It's a very small place to find books they have. They have fiction, cooking, history, and other kinds of books. However, you won't find most of the books you need due to the size of this place. I honestly wish that they have manga, but don't think they have them in stock. Probably gonna need to ask them next time though. They also have sections where they have books on sale though I did find ones that were very pricey. Still a good book shop to go to!”

“MOVED: 1575 Albatross Dr, 94087, Old Location is Closed One of the few Christian Science Reading Rooms that is open all day, every day. They also leave the current issue of the Christian Science Monitor out for anyone to read and get the headlines. If you want unbiased news this is a great place to get that newspaper and have a quiet place to read it.”

“It was my first time here since I needed to pick up a book that was nowhere to be found in the South Bay Barnes and Noble Bookstores. So the drive was not too bad going to and from there but I was still feeling a bit anxious. Once I arrived, parking was so easy since there were plenty of parking spaces in that area in front of the store. The wait in line didn't take long at all and the one who I spoke with over the phone before coming here excitedly waved my book in the air indicating he had it when he saw me lol while he was still in the middle of ringing someone else up. He continued to remain professional though even after it was my turn and I approached the register. I was so happy the bookseller P. saved it for me since it was the last copy. Mr. P was genuinely kind and very mindful, provided great customer service, very personable. I liked and appreciated that very much. So even though I don't live close to this store, I still came and was treated very kindly the whole time that I was here. Perhaps I can come visit again someday.”

“I walked in, found some books, and then couldn't find one book but all I knew about was vague enough descriptions I couldn't Google.A team member helped me find the book in a few minutes and offered to order it to the store because it wasn't typically sticked. Pretty cool.”

“Been using the Foothill bookstore for my whole duration as a student and it's always been a great resource. Friendly staff and my books usually come in great edition. Also offers free shipping.”
