This place is absolutely magical!
Chris and Stacy are incredible human beings. They completely made our 12 day trip! This place was absolute heaven after being in a tent for 3 nights.
Their hospitality makes the experience complete.
Also; got some of the best local intelligence EVER! Where to go, where the best local spots are, and Chris had the most robust information when it came to fishing.

First of all it is definitely not closed. The Pierpoint Springs resort has been open this year. We are part of the restoration process that is cleaning up and returning properties to homeowners who lost their homes during the devastating fires that ravaged this community last year. Stacy and Chris who are the wife/husband mangers of the Pierpoint have been nothing but fabulous during the many months we have been in this community!!! I have had many a meal at the restaurant - breakfast/lunch/dinner. I have yet to have a bad meal. The hamburgers are cooked to order, and every time I've ordered the Pierpoint burger medium rare, that is exactly what I get. Stop by the restaurant either coming to the Giant Sequoia National Forest or on your way back. Eventually when this project is over I will head back to my home state of Montana, but I will remember this place as a piece of home away from home!

I grew up in Springville California. Going up the Mountain has always been very special to me. It is such a beautiful place to be. Pierpoint Springs has always been one of my stops. Whether it be to have a really nice lunch or stop in at the bar to see my friends and have a game of horseshoes. Trudy one of my great friends has been working back there for a couple of years now. I have known just about every owner who has had the place over a span of 43 years, and each and every one of them was a pleasure to get to know. Until the next time Pierpoint! ???

The local greasy spoon for your trip up the sierras. The food is super well priced. The waitresses are friendly. They have guides to local spots, a gift/one stop shop. And a bar and motel for those who stay near. The souvenirs are a bit pricey. But you cant go wrong with the food for the price.
