asked a girl with red hair working said they only give military discount to veterans(i have come here a lot and they’ve given me military discount using my id am not a veteran) and i had to ask her if she’s sure cuz ive gotten it here before , then she changes her answer and says they only do it to military people with their ids?♀️ she sounded super rude

On 6/6/24 at 8:30 a.m., I waited patiently to donate goods while the first attendant working the area assisted another woman. During the course of 15 minutes as the woman was slow as the first attendant chatted with her; three trucks arrived to donate as well. The first worker repeatedly looked my way as a I waited, yet instructed a truck to pull up and unload, which made no sense as I was second and only had a couple of bags in my car. A second Attendant [I have had a kind and fair interaction with this Worker in the past] pointed in my direction whereby I assume he was stating the obvious--that should be served next. The first worker seemed oblivious, and the truck was now blocking the entrance. As an African American woman in San Diego, especially, it's more than tiresome to be overlooked and served, unjustly, last. However, discrimination is present even when I take the time to donate at Veterans Thrift Store. I spend and donate in the same places where I am treated fairly and with respect--but it will not be here.

Employees get mad at customers for information given to them from a different employee on checking the quality of goods. Customer service is lacking and overall just not consistent for all customers.
