“An amazing spot to find great used clothing, many quality furniture and so many misalanious items for your treasure trove. Definitely a place to savage for some amazing deals.”
“This place is such a gem!! They have great items at great prices and Kelly is amazingly helpful and kind. We found quite a bit here to furnish our ranch house and def going back for more. Thanks!”
“After a couple times playing pickleball at Lindo Lake park in Lakeside, the good folks told me I could get free lessons at Red Shield, El Cajon. The place is new is clean! I remember it being built just a few years ago but didn't know it was a recreation center. Signing up was easy, and was promptly instructed to do practice drills. Within 15 minutes, I was playing doubles with other newbies. Then was told to go to the middle court to learn next level instructions. I learned a lot today from the three instructors and met friendly people too! Excited to keep advancing so I signed up for next Thursday's lesson.”
“Lots of tools and lots of garbage. Its worth sorting through if you have the time. Clothes are bottom bin so I rarely find anything worth buying in that section.”
“First time in the store. Super cute store. Easy to find. We found some great gems. It was my friend's daughter birthday. The staff was super friendly and excited we were celebrating a birthday. Birthday girl got 20% discount. The clothes are priced well. Very clean and organized. I'm so happy we found this place. We will definitely return to buy and make donations.”

8828 Cuyamaca St, Santee“Great store, a crew that went above and beyond with finding me a 3xl shirt and tie for a funeral. It was half off them score!! The employee named Rob was so kind he let me cry on his shoulder outside. The manager when to bat for my situation. I wish them the best, and God bless.”

1130 E Main St, El Cajon“This classic old-fashioned thrift store that doesn't put on any airs,
yet it is always clean, safe, and pleasant to shop in.
Furnitre and kitchenware options are usually pretty great here.
Clothing is plenty and well priced, too.
There are always TVs and some kind of big exercise equipment, too.
If you are out thrift shopping in El Cajon, this is a GREAT place to drop in on!”
“Penny is the sweet blonde gal who has run this shop for at least the last decade. I have come here at least that long. It is one of my Thrifting Honey-Holes. I always find something here, especially women's clothing. It's very nice to come to here and get a nice little pick-me-up sometimes for a good deal. I like their prices. I am glad they have the 50% off sales they do, thanks guys. Good people run this store.”
“This place was a quick stop by on my way to my main destination. I'm glad I stopped here the shelves are jam packed full of unique and different items. I personally can because I saw that there is a couple cases for jewelry. I would say it's pretty okay priced... not too crazy high but definitely not cheap. There are a plethora of different things for collectors. The lady that helped me behind the counter spoke only Spanish but she was extremely nice (I don't speak Spanish at all) Definitely not a sore for resellers but if you are just the average person /collector shopping you can come across many lucky finds.”
“Great place with exquisite finds! Even though they're busy rearranging the store the staff are super friendly and helpful. Wonderful place to find dragon antiques!”
10AM - 5PM
841 E Main St, El Cajon“Quality Thrift is definitely more of an antique store rather than a thrift store. So if it’s really interesting antiques and vintage that you’re looking for, be sure to check out this store!”
10AM - 8PM
6127 Lake Murray Blvd, La Mesa“I don't know what it is with San Diego thrift stores or if it's just California. What is with the pricing!! It's ridiculous. This is the only store that has nice quality and thrift store priced items. Closest store I've found to a *GEM*. Definitely come to this store so many good things. Still a bit on the pricey side but not too bad.”
“I had an amazing experience shopping for a dining table at Thrift Koral. Special thanks to Susana because she was extremely helpful with my loading and even provided some tools to unscrew a table leg so it would fit in my car. I will definitely be coming back in the future.”
10AM - 3PM
8340 Lemon Ave, La Mesa“Awesome little thrift shop! It's a little tucked in La Mesa but a must see for cute little gems. Great prices and great service. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. Found a wooden utensil holder for only $3!!”
9AM - 8PM
6875 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego“The manager is lovely. They have such compassion. In a quick move I got rid of alot of my Pyrex from decades ago. I thought my stuff was going into storage. I'm a senior and it was my mom's stuff. It is like they wre waiting for me. Same time period Pyrex. Even that changes. I got my history back and I've started to cook again and I needed it. What a blessing. A very put together store. Clean, orderly, and parking.”
“One of the best thrift store I’ve been in SD. You’ll find here everything you need from at the best value prices. Staff is very friendly and kind and they offer various discounts. Go check it out!”
“It's a Goodwill. It's a small store but it is very well kept and clean. The staff are hit or miss in friendliness but hey, it's a Goodwill. They do have a great theft prevention policy, stand at the counter and yell "you're not welcome here!" but hey, it's a Goodwill. It's nice that it's not surrounded by crackheads but every now and then one will ask you to buy them an entire outfit, but hey, it's a Goodwill. For its size it has a good selection of everything and offers a good way to spend some time as you cruise through lovely downtown La Mesa.”
10AM - 8PM
9575 Mission Gorge Rd, Santee“Been clearing out my storage and this is a great store to donate too..Things need to be nice like I would buy but they take everything and don't turn you away because they dont have room to take stuff like one of other stores did to me recently. Staff is fast efficient friendly and polite. To buy things.... prices are very reasonable and lots of variety of items with a fair amount of furniture.”
“Awesome customer service! The store has a wide variety of unique collectible merchandise. The owner will tell you the history of any of their vintage items in detail. I bought some great 1980s vinyl records. Once again super-friendly customer service!”
“Hard working friendly staff keep stocking up the treasures, great value and worth the time to browse the complete selection, clean restroom available to the shoppers.”
“Great prices / deals. The staff is very welcoming and kind. You can really tell that they actually take the time to keep the store clean and full of quality clothes you can actually buy (no stains like other thrifts). Had a great experience and would rate 10/10, would certainly go back :)”
“So this might not be the biggest Goodwill but staff is friendly and it's not overpriced (like the Goodwill in Santee for example.) I found a few things so it was a good thrift day!”
“Love that this thrift store has actual thrift store prices! On top of their great prices they also offer additional discounts on different days. I've shopped here for quite a few years now & both my daughter & I always walk out happy & with something good in hand. This thrift store will continue to be the first place I choose to thrift at and also the first thrift store I choose to donate to.”
“The BEST thrift store in San Diego!! Family owned and ran, none of it is donated. It all comes from estate sales, storage locker auctions, or going out of business sales so the quality of items tends to be much better than other thrift stores. Lisa is a wonderful person who is so kind and welcoming. You need to check this place out!”
