I had a great experience here. These guys are subaru experts and they are pretty fair on the prices they charge, when i came to test drive a sti even and all the issues i pointed out they fixed and even made sure to provide me with documentation showing the engines health. If youre looking for a subaru dealership that knows there stuff in San Diego id definately recommend Sd Auto Sale.

Bought my subbie from the boys couple years ago. Actually going to pick her up today. I drive all day long in my 2008 subbie with more miles than i even know. They boys make sure she drives like the first day out the dealership and when things go wrong and you bring the car in. There always professional and the prices and work are top notch. Couldn't be happier with my car!!! Chris and the boys make you feel at home.

Bought a used car from here a couple months ago. When we purchased it, they said the car was in great shape for the mileage, the engine had passed compression and leak-down tests and had no real issues. Unfortunately, we took them at their word. Shortly after buying the car, we took it to a dealership to see what kind of deferred maintenance was needed. In doing just their general inspection, the dealership informed us there was a leak in the head gasket that would be roughly the cost of the car to repair. Either San Diego Auto Club was just straight up lying about the car, or they are incompetent when it comes to diagnosing engines. Take your pick but neither are good. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Beware of buying from them make sure you get Carfax and the car inspected before purchasing any car from them. I purchased a 2017 STI two weeks later I got a check engine light that was a #P0420 code and overheating so I had a good friend of mine that works at a dealership run the Carfax and it came back that The car had structural damage to it and I also found a bad Bondo job that was done on one of the rear quarter panels. and I also was let alone told the car was a CLEAN TITLE car before buying it beware of this dealership don’t get fooled like the rest of everybody else you get hyped up on looking at all the tuner cars around there lot

These guys are great, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Had a major timing belt issue, scheduled a drop off time and got the car back the next day. No issues. Good people and good service! Highly recommend, especially if you have a Subaru.

I recently bought a car from here and these guys have been nothing but respectful and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I know multiple people who have purchased vehicles from here and if they’ve had any issues, Chris and Sean have been incredibly helpful in getting them taken care of quickly and for a very affordable price. I knew going into this that they did not provide financing, and they were understanding of the process it takes to get a loan. They quickly registered my vehicle and provided me the plates, and provided me with a free oil change as the clutch was just replaced. During the test drive I was told not to speed or drive recklessly and it was offered that I could get onto the freeway if I so pleased while Sean was in the car, which shows me they trust in their vehicles they sell. I’m not sure if this company was ran differently when the old reviews were posted, but my and my friends experiences speak to their business practices and care for other Subaru lovers and car lovers in general.
