Fantastic! We were traveling through the area and desperately needed our old man groomed and she did an amazing job. She was able to fit us in and I am so glad she did. It is one of the best cuts he has gotten and I am so happy. Definitely recommended if you need to get a groom done. She also has a store attached that looked like it had a few pet supplies as well.

Leslie is phenomenal with our two boys. She knows how to keep them calm (they both have moderate to severe separation anxiety). She also knows different styles of haircuts for which ever breed/hair type your dog has. Happy Hound Grooming has VERY competitive prices, if not the best in the area. 5 stars for outstanding service in all the years I've been coming to Happy Hound Grooming. Check out the pet supplies, check out the self wash station too!

Leslie is a great groomer. She always does my bassett hounds nails lickety split. My girls are so difficult. She does in 5 minutes what 4 people can't do at home. Gemma and Ruby thank you.

I had my dog Floyd groomed and nails trimmed. I am happy with her service. Boy did my dog look and smell clean better than I ever could. The owner was extremely professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend her services. The price was wallet friendly.?

Best groomer in town! Leslie is amazing, she is always so sweet and understanding. She is always kind and caring to my senior dogs.. her prices and service are the best , they also have a pet supply , so you can buy food. Treats and some supplements , I get my dogs their CBD oil the best brand, at a very reasonable price.

Leslie is awesome! I called to get my dog’s nails trimmed and she got me in immediately. She was excellent with my Australian Cattle. I’m usually a little worried when she gets her nails trimmed but Leslie made it easy and stressful. Definitely coming back again!

Started taking my dog (maltipoo) here about 3 months ago. I will never take her anywhere else. Leslie truly treats each dog individually, pays attention to what your dog is uncomfortable with, and will work around it. Ex: My pup started pulling away from her when she was using the clippers near her face. In turn, Leslie switched to her scissors to keep my dog comfortable. I also appreciate that she doesn't overbook, so you don't have to worry about your dog being kenneled for long periods of time. You know the place is awesome when your dog wags their tail and trots inside when you get there.

Leslie did an amazing job on my pup! My dog has a lot of anxiety and frightens easily, but Leslie took care of her like her own. I highly recommend this place!

I recently moved to La Mesa and was looking for a new groomer in the area. I'm so glad I found The Happy Hound Dog Grooming! They are conveniently located right off the 94. The owner Leslie is very nice and personable. Jackson got one of the best grooms he's had in awhile and he's so happy (check out his smile). I will refer all of my friends to them!

My Pitbull and Great Dane love her! Don’t hesitate and bring your dogs in if you’re looking for a groomer . The small store also seems to have a good variety of high quality products as well
