If I could give 0 stars I would. I specifically downloaded this app to make this awful review on this store and their management. I bought a brand new Xbox series S 1 TB from GameStop on October 27,2023. I payed $349.99 for this and purchased the one year warranty for $40. My total on receipt comes to $389.00 before tax. 6 months later on April 21st, 2024. My HDMI port broke. I play this console maybe once a week. I called this store to request it to be replaced under warranty. They informed me that, because my receipt does not show "warranty-$40" separately from the total price of the console, that it cannot be covered under warranty. I called corporate GameStop and complained and a corporate supervisor 3 way called me and the manager KEITH and informed Keith that clearly a mistake was made on their behalf and that it is up to managers discretion whether or not I would be allowed to replace my Xbox under warranty. Keith the manager at this location, denied the request. Now I have to buy a brand new Xbox AGAIN. I did my job as a customer to provide my phone number, name and email with $40 extra dollars for the warranty. I was also informed that Andrew (who was the Individual that sold me the console) no longer works there. I wonder why. Clearly he didn't do his job correctly or he pocketed my $40 I don't know. Awful customer service l. Terrible manager. I will never buy anything from this store again and I recommend you don't either.

When no one else carried or saved a PS5 these guys did. The lead was so nice and gave me a great deal for the PS5 package I purchased for my son’s birthday. And on a different occasion my son traded in a bunch of games, the employee was very patient and helpful.

I mean, GameStop overall is pretty bad at everything game related. However this location specifically at 8626 Jamacha Blvd Spring Valley, CA 91977 is without a doubt the worst GameStop I've ever set foot in.All GameStop's have overpriced stock, underpriced trade-in value, and they often have more plushies & t-shirts than actual video games unless you're looking to buy the last 10 years of madden nfl games consecutively.But on top of what you can expect at any location, this one also rarely answers their phone, when they do they can't even correctly search & identify inventory from their computer, and the customer service is severely lacking.Checking out with a single new game shouldn't take 15+ minutes with no other customers even in the store.And it wouldn't if they didn't insist on talking your ear off about their "deals", and asking you every other sentence if you'd like that game pre-owned, or what's your phone number, or would you like to give us more money to sign up for our useless rewards program.Regardless, I'll never be back to this location. From now on, I'll just order online rather than waste my time in person. But to GameStop management, I'd recommend you guys maybe trade-in these two for a couple of solid employees.

I've been coming here everyone and then for the last 10 years and haven't had a bad experience yet. The employees have been helpful and don't linger around you which has been my experience at some GameStop's before. Right next to Starbucks and parking always is available.

Came in to sell my sons old Xbox one and 2 controller since I got him the newest one. He kept trying to get me to take credit for the items which I came in for cash. I had to tell him 3 times that no I’ll take cash he kept saying how it will be lower I said that’s fine I don’t need anything from here so I don’t need credit. He had an attitude not sure why, Made me feel super uncomfortable how do you have an attitude cause I didn’t want credit smh.
