Came here for a 2nd opinion. The team was very honest and transparent despite being clearly busy. Ended up having the repair done for about $400 rather than the initial $2000 the previous mechanic quoted me. Overall, very happy with my experience.

I know for sure it was Carlos who over ($3000+) charged me on a quote for repairing things that my car didn't even need. Even Evan's Tires shop quoted ($1000+) me way less and said I didn't need all the other repairs Carlos claimed it needed. I was saving for it when I decided to take it back to Tao when I thought Carlos was out of town. Tao said no I don't need all those repairs. What I do gotta fix will only be about ($1000+) not over $3000 as claimed by Carlos. Then of course after I find out Carlos overcharged me, as I had suspected several times, I was glad Tao, the honest dude let Carlos go several weeks ago. Tao always gave my family great deals on fixing our cars. But whenever Carlos looked at them, the prices always seemed way too high. He'd quote us higher than places like Evan's Tires. My instincts told me something was way off about his quotes. Money seemed to be his motivation rather than honesty. I'm glad I waited til Tao looked at it instead. TAO is awesome!! He wants to make sure the cars are safe for his customers. He is a good person. It's about safety and honesty for him. Wherever C went to work at, there may will be an overcharge to customers. But not here with Tao. ?☝️

Do NOT get a smog test from here!!! Stay away from here. Emissions passed and then he said my engine check light was on and my timing was off so I failed. You pay the same price pass or fail which is usual. But I have never had my engine check light on so I looked more into it. I took it back after driving around for 30 minutes (no check engine light) and one of the guys said he could take a look at it if I "helped him out with dinner or something...like 50 bucks". He looked at it and said timing has to still be off, so I asked if he could test it to make sure. He showed me it was a little off. Once I asked can we adjust it; which I've done before. He said "no, that's a whole other job." But I need it to pass apparently and he's denying to help me fix the timing. It takes 5 minutes to adjust. Then he pulls me aside and says. "Listen, I'm not gonna adjust the timing, I'll redo the test and if the check engine light doesn't come on I'll pass you.." check engine light never came on and like I've said, I've never seen it on in that truck. Save your money and time and Do NOT go here.

Brought my 2012 Camry in for a Smog Check. Yes, it's an easy task, but I want to give them a good rating because the staff are very personable and attentive. Very likable people work here. The shared parking lot is overwhelmed with cars from the neighboring businesses. But take your time, and be flexible. You want to be well taken care of.

Scam shop stay away! They couldn't get the issue fixed, installed a part wrong, sold me parts I didn't need. Don't sign anything unless they have a description of the issue in detail. They wanted me to just sign a blank service order and did the same to a buddy, I had to correct them on how unprofessional that is. I live down the road from that place, I hope you remember this review eveytime I walk pass you guys, cause I do walk pass you guys often, you guys look like a dog with a tail between his legs.

My first experience with CD Auto was in 2007. They replaced the transmission in my 2001 Windstar and I have taken all of my families cars to them ever since. Tho and Carlos are excellent mechanics and they go above and beyond to ensure that they get your vehicle fixed properly in a timely manner.

Be careful. He will over charge you. He will exaggerate the complexity involved with the repair then over charge.
