Bought an air fryer/bake/broil/toaster oven on Easter Sunday. There was a manager who spent like 30 minutes resolving the issue. He was a bald gentleman of either Asian or Pacific Islander decent. He exceeded expectations even though it was time for him to go home.
He called his other managers on site, he called a manager off-site, and he called corporate. He took care of us and issued the refund even though it took longer than anyone anticipated. It's important to bring attention to this man and acknowledge how he was persistent in not giving up because that's what customer service is about.
I wish I asked his name, but my girlfriend and I are just beyond grateful.

Bought a Foot Board as part of a queen size bed frame and it came damaged. Were sent to this store to get a replacement. The store Employee was very passive aggressive and lied about having inventory after we had been sent to this store from another big lots gm to exchange for a new one.
I informed them to call the store that sent me there.
Employee came back and mentioned he thought I said King. He had the receipt and knew it was a Queen.
This was just an exchange as we had gotten a 20% discount and did not want to lose that discount. He refunded the transaction and charged it again at full price.
Just a very unprofessional passive aggressive thing to do.
This was just 1 Employee out of the 3 that were there. Other were very professional.

just went in for a few things found everything i needed and cashier was nice love the female cashiers here always so nice and helpful if i need to ask about anything

The store could use a TLC. Seems like items are cluttered and disorganized. Cashiers were "super friendly."

I recently purchased some wicker chairs online from Big Lots. I came in to pick up some essentials and have not been to this location for a few years because it used to be unorganized, dirty and the lines would take a long time to get through. I was pleased to see a complete 180°. The store is well stocked, clean and organized. I found everything I needed and was not disappointed in any way. I appreciate the guard at the door and the helpful staff. One new thing was the availability of carts. You do need a coin to get a cart which was unexpected, but the staff helped with that, just ask. They understand that we all don't always carry coins.

They have gotten more furniture and some clothes but the food selection has shrink dramatically. The prices are a little too high even for there on some things as well. But they give a military discount on a regular basis now so that's good.

Very rude and unprofessional interaction with the manager, Trini. Apparently, signage for 20% off was in the wrong location. Ms Trini loudly and rudely went on a verbal rampage proclaiming how the discount would be honored but it shouldn’t be. She then made a scene as she proceeded to demonstratively remove the signs. Ms. Trini’s embarrassing performance was in response to a $3.99 stuffy. (The whole time informing everyone she just returned from being off 2 days….irrelevant information)
