The people who work here are very nice but it’s a horrifically managed location.Every time I pick up a Rx they haven’t filled it because I cash pay for one medication. This is despite calling ahead and having a note put on my account. The check Rx readiness by phone never works. They can’t find me by phone number or Rx number in the automated system.None of this would be a deal breaker, but in person pick ups take FOREVER because they are so short staffed. They think nothing of asking people to wait 45 min - 1 hour, and then being off by an hour. While this is annoying to me, I can’t imagine being one of the elders or parents with young kids hanging off my arm being treated the same way. It’s utterly disrespectful of peoples time. This isn’t an emergency room dealing with unexpected surge demand. It’s a pharmacy with 3 people in line on a Sunday afternoon.Oh, this Walgreens also bizarrely has no carts or baskets so everyone is walking around with a pile balanced in their arms. The cashier encouraged me to put things in my coat pocket or a plastic bag she could give me.Today I gave up on this place, and have transferred to a mail order pharmacy with one physical location in downtown SF.

Long wait time, even for appointments

Please stay away from this pharmacy especially if you need your meds the same day! I had my surgery today. My surgeon sent the prescription to this pharmacy this morning. I've been waiting 8 hrs and the lazy pharmacy staff said they are still processing the order. No emphathy. It is already late afternoon. I am in pain and I also need my antibiotics. This place needs to shut down. They hire the laziest pharmacists. If I get an infection or faint because of the pain because you didn't give me my meds in time, you will be hearing from my attorney.

The pharmacy line is extremely slow, the typical wait time is over an hour. Safeway is much better to get your vaccinations, no wait. Walgreens upgraded their fridges to have LED screens, but can't find the funds to properly staff their locations. Such a shame.

This particular location used to be one of the best. Now they don't even deserve the 1 star. My prescription was sent Friday came Saturday not ready came Monday not ready but it would be in 30 minutes. Came Tuesday same tech said not ready wait 1 hour. Like what?? So unprofessional so under staffed I am currently waiting through the drive thru and being ignored and hung up through the call box. Do better Walgreens & treat your customers better

This review is not for the workers, who are doing their best, but for the Walgreens corporation that consistently understaffs this store. The pharmacy is a nightmare -- even with an appointment for a flu shot we still had to wait in a long line for a full hour. The rest of the store isn't any better. The other day I ordered some items for pickup, but when I arrived (with my email confirmation) the staff had no idea what was going on and I was passed from person to person until I found someone who told me the computer system was down. Walgreens needs to stop understaffing their stores and neglecting their computer systems just to save a few bucks. Also, if you paid your workers better, you wouldn't have so much employee turnover.

Avoid this Walgreens at all costs! My mother had an appointment today at 10:15 for a COVID shot and she didn't receive the shot until 11:15! This is unacceptable. Had she not inquired, she would not have known that the pharmacist had lost her papers that she submitted. They really need to have a better system for scheduled immunizations (especially if the person preparing the vaccine is not the person administering the vaccine). They are short-staffed and the pace of the nurse administering shots today was so slow. Don't waste your time coming here.

Do not bother coming here to get photos, ESPECIALLY your passport! The passport photo taken by a Walgreens employee looked a mess. I was asked to put my face forward in an awkward position; the photo was taken up close, and taken twice.Needless to say I was seeing spots by the time the 2nd photo was taken.I was told that the photo would be ready in an hour. I came back in an hour and the photo wasn't ready, and the guy who had taken my photo went on a lunch break. He came back and rushed through my photo and picked the photo that had one of my eyes semi closed due to the flash. Needless to say I didn't use that picture, after paying 16.99$ :/ So I had to figure a way to take the photo again.I found a "passport photo app" used that, followed the guidelines for passport photos according to the passport agency website and Walgreens. I then sent the photo to Walgreens, all checks were green, I paid another 16.99$. And guess what? Walgreens check marks showing that they meet passport requirements are incorrect (as well as the passport agency site not posting full details on photo requirements; NO SMILING AT ALL! So again, I use up my time a third time to order a photo through Walgreens again, then find the photo system was down. I go back 24 hours later, photos are down.I go to two alternative Walgreens, photos are down or they did not have photo paper . Can you believe that the photo area did not have photo paper!?! Anyway, I then chose CVS cause obviously I had to learn my lesson from Walgreens somehow.CVS Westborough prints your photos in SECONDS! You attach your phone, select the photos you want to print, then the photo is sent automatically to the photo printer. CVS also uses the correct passport requirements.Needless to say DO NOT waste your time with Walgreens photos!

This pharmacy is terrible. If you can go elsewhere, do so.They'll swear over the phone they called your doctor's office, or they didn't receive a fax, or your Rx is ready. You arrive in person to find the complete opposite. When calling, you may wait a full hour, only to get hung up on.I anticipate an extra 1-2 business days to get a refill done here.

Pharmacy issue. On 09/08/2023I have a prescription ready at the pharmacy but even though it is between the pharmacy hours posted on the website and store locations walls, there is no pharmacist on site. I am in desperate need of this medication. When I brought this problem to the attention of the workers I was told "try the westborough location" sounds easy enough but unfortunately I don't have a car to just try another location. I'm fed up with Walgreens at this point. Not taking this medication can be detrimental to my health. I am very dissatisfied with the location and the response of the employees working. I wish I could give less than one star for the review.

Two rookie girl pharmacists last night were so unprofessional and lazy. They were constantly check ing, texting, laughing on their portable phones without even care anything while on their jobs, acting like the bosses. My doctor sent my prescription there around yesterday noon. However, when I got there to pick just one prescription in the evening, they asked me to wait more than 40+ minutes even with no customer there, just me waiting. Really unacceptable and shame on them.

Unreasonable, illogical, and suspicious. and apparently from the many great reviews this place has, also unhelpful as shit. believe them.Made a cash app deposit and the lady got real leery of me, separating out one of my bank's $100 bills and calling for the manager, who is also ready to accuse me of providing a counterfeit but is too lazy to explain why. I asked them to mark it with a counterfeit detector, but they didn't have one! I asked them their basis for this, the manager ignorantly said it just looks fake and walked away. I was obviously furious at these absolute fools who have apparently been taken advantage of one too many times in the past. Good riddance.

Definitely the first and last time I'll be getting a prescription sent here. The first time I went to go pick up my prescription, it had been 5 days since the order had been placed and it was still not ready for pickup after I stood in line for TWENTY MINUTES. The cherry on top is when I waited for three people to finish and the attendant went to go help the person in the driveway before me even though they literally just rolled up. The most incredible thing about my experience? My surgeon prescribed pain meds that they did not pack!! My doctor never gave me a full list of what I was picking up so I had no idea anything was missing until my surgery date when the nurse asked me where my pain meds were. Save yourself the trip, don't come to this pharmacy because they're an absolute shit show.

We had a 215 appt for a covid test and despite arriving 10 minutes early, we didn’t get it until 2:38. We sat in the car in the drive thru line this entire time at the window (while others sped off from the line since they were sick of waiting). We brought my mother in law for a covid test (she wore and N95 in the car to reduce our exposure.) They would not let her hop out of the car to do the test to limit exposing us.Instead, THEY HAD TWO KIDS AND TWO ADULTS GET OUT OF THE CAR AND STAND IN THE DRIVE THRU and had her get in the driver seat to do the test. We’ve taken her for the PCR test before and they allowed her to hop out to pull her mask down, and do the test to limit everyone else’s exposure. If the goal is to limit spread of covid 19, they did not have that as a priority.Staff inside the pharmacy wore masks below their noses.
