I recently made a brief visit to The Golf Mart in South San Francisco, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Despite my short time there, I got exactly what I needed quickly and efficiently.
I realized I had left home without packing a belt, and I was in a hurry to make it to my tee time. I asked the young lady at the front counter for assistance in finding stretchy golf belts. She went above and beyond by not only directing me but also personally walking me over to them. This level of service was fantastic and greatly appreciated, especially given my time constraints.
Thanks to her helpfulness, I was able to get what I needed and be on my way swiftly. The Golf Mart provided excellent customer service that made my visit smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone in need of golf gear with top-notch service!

Went in for the first time, very new to the sport, and gear / clubs can be very technical. Was super intimidated with the selection. Geoff helped me pick out clubs that were particularly forgiving for a beginner, and at different budgets and price points. Walked out with my first 3 clubs (3h, 6i, putter). Couldn't be happier with the service and help.

My go-to golf store in the Bay Area! Customer service is great! I'm an amateur into the golf world and unfortunately had to go through 2 iron sets to find the best "beginner" set for my needs but this store did not give me a hard time about it and made me feel comfortable throughout the buying experience. Shout out to Uni, the store manager for being awesome!

Went in today looking for a new driver. Met Matt G near the hitting bays and told him exactly what I wanted to try. Paradym X and Ping G430 with regular flex shafts. I started warming up with the clubs I brought to establish my baseline. I also asked to try a 7 iron equal to the drivers as far as mfg goes. Matt arrived as I was almost done warming up. I started with the irons and found both did not present any improvement from my own club. On to the drivers and I hit both well and the performance was better than my current driver. I was going to go home with one of them! The carry distance and total rollout were better with the Ping. I decided to hit three more each and whichever one had an average rollout that was furthest was the one I was taking home. I will be trying my new Ping G430 driver tomorrow at Poplar Creek!! Throughout all of this Matt kept and eye on me and asked how it was going. When I explained the iron situation he said let me make up a couple other clubs for you to try. They both felt as good as the first two but not any better than what I was using Taylormade RBZ Black 8 iron. I will be back!!! Maybe getting a 3 or 4 wood to go with my NEW driver. Super appreciative for Matt's time and input. I got twice the value of my new driver out of this experience. Thanks Matt G!!!

The customer service was terrible. We were the only customers in the store, but the sales staff was busy talking to each other. We ended up buying on-line.

There are many different types of golf equipment. I purchased 2 pairs of FootJoy SL golf shoes for cheap. The female employee gave me one in my bag as well. This is the best place to buy golf equipment in San Francisco
