It is extremely expensive. The fruits are not fresh and it is not good quality in size or taste. The fruits aren't sweet. The only good about them is it comes with a nice packing but you can't use anywhere else. I would not recommend it to anyone unless I don't wanna talk to that person anymore.

2 stars on the execution, 5 stars on customer service. Total 3.5 stars, rounded down to 3. My workplace told me about the Fruit Guys and offered a 10% discount with them, so I ordered a box of organic fruits and vegetables to be delivered in Chicago. I got the small box which as 16 servings of half fruit, half vegetables for $35. There's free shipping or you can pay like $13 for priority shipping. The box was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday but it wasn't delivered until Friday midday. By the time it was delivered, the fruit was rotting and bruised. The potatoes, onions, and carrots were the only things that survived. I called the Fruit Guys and they fully refunded me for the entire box because of the delay and the spoiled fruit. They were really nice over the phone and I appreciate the refund. I had high hopes for this so I'm sad that it didn't work out. I would be willing to try again in the future though because of the kind customer service.

Received my box of fruit from my org, all the fruit was rotten... literally. Not a single item of fruit was edible, potatoes squishy, blackened carrots/celery super flimsy, oranges & apples were gross too... please find a solution to preserve the freshness of your items, it looks bad on your customers ordering from you

Received the medium box as a gift. I was surprised anyone would pay the price for what we received. $41 and $14 shipping for 3 pears, 2 avocados, 5 apples, 1 orange, 2 tangelos, and a bunch of bananas. On top of that, I live in the PNW where the local apples are amazing and cheap. The apples I received were very small and no taste. Everything was under ripe. Overall, I could get better quality in under the cost for shipping.

I received a shipment as a gift. I called the customer service and left a message informing them my gift was moldy and the bananas brown and I had pictures. They returned my call the next day left me a message to send the picture to there info email that was 5 days ago. I have not heard anything back from them since. I didn't want to tell my friend that they sent me moldy fruit so I am not sure when or if I will tell them? Very disappointing...

We started using The FruitGuys when the pandemic hit, but finally canceled our service due to reoccurring delivery issues and poor fruit quality.Let's start with the positives. They have excellent customer service and are super responsive. The fruit comes in a sturdy double decker box that can be reused. They are great about sending replacement fruit or crediting your account as long as you send them a photos of all the bad fruit. Once in awhile you also receive a small surprise such as an avocado, couple mangos, bag of grapes, or pack of blueberries. Now to some of my frustrations. Deliveries were constantly in the late evenings or 2 days later. I was finally told this was due to the courier. They then gave me an option pay higher shipment fees for guaranteed delivery on the same day they originally promised when service began. Bananas were frequently bruised due to not having enough padding in the box. Whenever the shipments were late, we discovered a few fruit that was either rotten, moldy, or very ripe. This also could have been due to the lack of freshness. Some of the items are not something we would normally get at the grocery store or our local farmers market such as red/black plums, bosc pears, and green apples. 75% of the fruit was exactly the same each week.We were disappointed with the overall experience and truly hope The FruitGuys are able to solve these problems.

Ordered a very basic Organic box - bananas, apples (2 kinds), Tangerines and pluots.Everything was fine - but very basic fruit.Turns out The Fruit Guys also supply the fruit to my old company - who knew?In any case, made a good gift but not my favorite fruit company.

They sent tons of boxes to healthcare workers in NYC. Boxes contained bananas, apples, oranges, pears, peaches and some bags of snacks like almonds, almond butter.. etc The 2 oranges looked okay from the outside but when I used it to make a fruit salad it was so sweet and juicy. I just ate the last one the other day and it was so good. I haven't had an orange like that in NYC in years... The peaches were rotten but it's understandable since the fruits were received on the hottest day this summer...

$41 for the fruit below. That's about $4 per item if you consider the bananas as one item.

Original package arrived damaged because of shipment and some other quality issues but they jumped on the replacement right away. Instead of a local delivery service they even sent it FedEx. It's a nice assortment of fruit and vegetables especially during the pandemic. We haven't had to go to the store for produce which we are very thankful for. The minus one star is deducted for the original issue but other than that great service and quality is appreciated.
