I like that they have Amazon returns there. Staples is still a little pricey but you do find occasional deals that are worth it ;)

I don't know why this store exists other than to sell overpriced frou-frou office supplies. I had some questions about identifying and ordering a part for a printer. No one was working at the tech desk in the morning. I went back in the evening, and was told to, "look it up on line," which I had already done extensively, hence my need to talk to someone. They refused to order anything for me, either. The staff member was dismissive and refused to assist me in any way. So I made an educated guess at what part I needed, and ordered it directly from the manufacturer, although Staples appears to sell it on line (at a 33% markup.) I'll never do business with them again.

2 months ago I got a deposit stamp made. No they are unable to take the order in store. Why have a store front?

Went I. To get some prints and the Fatass in the print shop didn't want to help me. Clearly she wasn't in the mood to work. Do BETTER STAPLES!!

I just purchase a laminator and a puncher at the store and the new young boy give me a change of dimes with equivalent of a 50 cents. I know its not a big deal. I ask him you have quarters instead and he said no. When I look he have one whole roll and mention that he doesn't wanna Crack it because the register will start beeping. I said change my dimes into 2 quarters.. my receipt number T113NQ11A4YQR4AXYFK and the other receipt was T1131NQ11A14YQT4AXYFW. Cashier 2072925.. Date 1/4/2024, time 6:50-6:51pm.. He needs coaching from the team leads.

Amazon/UPS returns counter person Teresa never fails to ruin my mood by her hostility and sloth. The cashiers are thankfully better. Store is dated but glad it's still there.

The customer service here is atrocious. The associates are not well trained nor knowledgeable about the store policies. When asking for more details or clarification, they give non-answers or evade answering to hide their ignorance. There is no shame to admitting you don't know. Giving me a pamphlet when I am asking a specific problem does not help, especially as the pamphlet doesn't answer said question. I had a particularly difficult time with the old man at the register today, who decided being snarky and rude was the way to go when I pointed out none of what he was saying answered my question. Learn and be better. Or stick to stocking the shelves.

This week has been stressful for my family and I since we've been dealing with a loss. I came to staples in hopes for some help in printing a memorial card for my loved one. I was cutting close on some time and needed a day turnaround for my project.Miss.Rose was so nice! I was met with problem solving, warmth and empathy. She helped me get my order submitted in person since if I were to submit online, my project wouldn't have made the timeframe I needed it. I thank her so much for her kindness!

My last few visits here were to do Amazon returns which was great due to how close it was to my house. I've never before had an issue, so today was a first; I've never before felt compelled to leave a negative review on yelp until today(11:30ish). I came in to return one item and was 1st in line behind a woman who was already being helped... another lady came over and stood off to the side rather than behind me. Soon after two men came and stood behind me in line. When the next person was called they allowed this lady standing aside to cut me. She apparently had been detoured to checkout previously and had to come back to returns/shipping desk after. When they called next in line I believed it to be my turn, since I was there first. But the employee disregarded me and they allowed the lady to cut me in line. It made me feel disrespected and stupid for having defending myself. I likely wont be coming here again.

Today I want to register my thousand stars for the service provided by the employee, Jona, in the printing services. I was very lucky to fall into her hands!!! After being rejected by an attendant with no preparation for dealing with people, an extremely rude and bitter person, I had the privilege of being served by this human being, such an empathetic and kind angel, who provided an incredible experience, my visit today at Staples in San Bruno, and where it initially seemed so logical that I wanted to register the immeasurable feeling of being disrespected by the first attendant, it no longer made sense given how lucky I was to be with Jona. Believe in the laws of the universe, because definitely when a window closes it could be because a gate is opening before her eyes. I really enjoyed being with you Jona, today you were the Universe's answer to me hearing the opening of the gate, while I just looked at a window!!!

Horrible customer service. Manager and staff are incredibly unhelpful. I attempted to make a return for a purchase through Doordash and they would not provide me with any assistance. I needed to make an exchange and they were unable to fulfill my request even though I had proof of the purchase. I had to wait over 10 minutes for assistance because the manager was to busy (she yelled across the store she was too busy) and the cashier wanted to help other customers. They insisted I make the return through Doordash even though I was presently at the store with the items. I asked him what was the process to do it through doordash and they were unable to provide me an answer. The manager and cashier are completely incompetent.

0 if it was possible. Only redeeming quality is that it's large. They will never answer their phone no matter how many times you call or where you're being directed to. Walked in to ask about the service I requested to be met with "oh I'm working on it now" ok but what's the ETA, ignores my question until I ask again before going uhm an hour. Like it's fine that you're just starting on it but if I'm here, just tell me the ETA. Why waste both of our time after you didn't greet or provide. Their UPS "ships 7 days a week" but not the products Staples provide apparently. If it wasn't such a last minute order, I would NEVER come here for a more expensive and lower quality product than what's available online.
